The Clever Cup Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Siesta Key

I started grabbing coffee here within the first year the Clever Cup opened. I worked next door so I was there every day (years ago) both the owners worked the front, (they didn't even have employees yet) and everything was delicious and consistent. Fast forward 7 years to now, I just sat down and enjoyed a Vanilla Chai Latte, bacon/cheese/egg everything bagel, and chocolate croissant. Wow! Delicious! Just like years ago, if not better. I also grabbed a raspberry muffin to go for later. Their baked treats are all homemade and the owners design their own recipies. The artistic energy that emits from The Clever Cup clearly can be seen; from the owners art on the walls to the carefully crafted drinks with the best equipment (I remember when they upgraded their machine to the fancier one). They have a rewards stamp card, they support local artists and jewelry makers. Most importantly, the owners at Clever Cup have given us Sarasotians a delicious place to enjoy unique coffee, fresh food, and peaceful atmosphere in a world so corporatized. Have to absolutly say what a wonderful, fun, artistic and cool Coffee Shop the Clever Cup is!! As a local here in SRQ, I have found this local hot spot to be the perfect place to enjoy some quality time with my friends chatting away over fresh organic Coffee and Tea drinks. I love the atmosphere, I love that this shop gives a truly pleasant family type vibe right after you walk in. I had the honor of sharing in some art and music events here with more to come, as this Coffee Shop is the MOST Clever in creating unique events that keep us all coming back for more!! Love the owner Tracy and her gorgeous hand done paintings made by dipping paint brushes in brewed coffee like watercolors, how unique and some painted faces of local Clever Cup fans in the mix! Then they also help support young new and coming musicians, local artists of many kinds, and the best events to look forward to. Great, organic coffee roasted just north in Tampa. Sweet, friendly staff (love ya Cassie and Kristen!) and great owners.

They have great options for non-dairy milks and a nice selection of all natural Monin flavors. Also usually have at least a couple of vegan + gf locally made muffins or baked treats.

They can get busy in the morning, but if you need a place to do some work while you enjoy a delightful coffee or tea and a snack the afternoon is perfect. It's 20+ minutes from where I live but I still try and come here at least once a week because they have a great atmosphere. They also just added CBD coffee for those who are into that.
