The Wine Country — Restaurant in Signal Hill

Amazing! The wine selection, the prices, the service, everything was exceptional. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. I asked to be pointed to their Argentinian Malbecs (a favorite of mine, but I was looking for a gift to bring to dinner to an Argentinian friend's house). They had a fantastic selection. The staff's recommendation lined up with Vivino's ratings and was a success with my friend. When I mentioned it was a gift they offered to wrap it in tissue with a foil sticker to complement the presentation. They had a huge selection of colors to pick from. It made my simple gift really special! This place is hands down the best place I've ever bought a bottle of wine from.

We always go here to find wines we can't get in other stores. They have a great selection & knowledgeable staff. They have regular wine tastings & are willing to special order for you. It's a fun shopping experience & conveniently located for us. The store is clean & wine sections are well - labeled by country /region. They make really nice gift baskets & carry a variety of wine - related gift items.

We've purchased wine, gift baskets as well as taken classes. The staff at The Wine Country KNOW their stuff. You can't go to a BevMo or Total Wine and get the knowledge as well as the special wines they carry. I've never been steered to anything outside my budget either. I've let them know what I like, what I want to pay and they have always suggested something spectacular.
