QueenCity Inn — Hotel in Signal Hill

My husband and I came for vacation and we didn't take anything upstairs to room 235 but the clothes we had on our backs due to the time we came to check in. The room was not clean bed was made, shavers and Left over shampoo was left behind, the bathroom window would not close to secure. But, we were so tired from our flights We woke up late in a rush to our event and my husband forgot his gulfcoast jacket with our boarding passes and passports in the pockets. We called the property regarding the item. Front desk informed us to come in and we did. The front desk had us wait over 45 minutes while she was on a call, checking in guest and even told us she will be back she's going to check the storage room, she walked right outside the enterance took 3 steps talking on the phone, did not even check the storage room and came back in saying the house keeper did not find anything! For something so important they did not take immediate action. With no care for our personal information we will proceed with the process. This is a filthy hotel, employee charged us 130 with no incidental fee just for a day use. I am a manager at a hotel and proper action needs to happen accordingly to retreieve our...

Very bad the floors are very dirty,the air conditioning does not work, and there are massive cockroaches living inside and outside the building,but this isn't all the walls are musty,dirty,sticky, and have a foul odor,another thing with this hotel is that the toilet that my room got was disgusting it was covered in all sorts of different fluids. And now here is the real cherry on top, whilst taking a shower I saw that the water had a slight yellow shade to it and I thought that is was just me because I had been to the beech a few hours earlier but as I put some of the shower water directly into a empty water bottle I was right that the water was slightly yellow almost like if it was urine. I advise anyone that is on a tight budget and wants a cheap and hood hotel go to a place like super 8 or motel 6 both of those are hundreds of times better than this disgusting and filthy...

Not as advertised. After checking In. I had my family go up the elevator to the room while I went to the truck to get our belongings. I went up the elevator. Elevator was in horrible shape. Smelt like heavy smoke. After selecting a button I didn’t see anything light up. I didn’t know if the elevator was going to work or not. Sure enough I was on my way to the second floor. After observing my surroundings looking at the floors, vending machines, ice machines, laundry mat. I was disgusted. I made it to my room and instantly told my family we need to leave and the condition of this property is not sanitary. I started to observe the room and again. Filth everywhere. They refused refund.
