Disclaimer: this is for the West Covina office but they donât have a Google review sooo here we go. Where to start⌠this is by far the most unprofessional, worst college someone can choose to go too. Charging horrific rates to students while providing a subpar level education, having a professor who refused to teach for the first few months of the year and acted sooo aggressive, rude, yelled at adult students like children and ignored her classes needs. She was so bad she was removed from the class and continued to talk badly about the class she left hanging for months, making them behind the courses because of her. ADDITIONALLY, having a class of nearly 40 with only 7-9 people passing the final out of 3 attempts. The exam is NOT LVN level and has questions that was proven to never have been taught through the courses. They are on the verge of losing their accreditation because of this. WORST of all is no matter if you pass all the courses with straight As in every test and assignment, if you do not pass their final which is all encompassing and well above the state boards level of LVN knowledge, you WILL NOT get credit for any of your work. The entire year and a half will be for nothing and will have to start all over. The list of atrocities is longer than I can go into here but anyone thinking about going here, avoid this school at all costs. Something is seriously wrong, itâs a business meant to take money while refusing to provide the minimum education...
Read moreI wish education was free but it isnât. Compared to different schools this is one is a few k cheaper. The courses are easy to follow and the instructor for the pharmacy program is very knowledgeable and answers any question a student has.
Edit: I graduated November 4th 2022, turned in all my paper work, and still havenât seen a sign of my license. Not only did I turn in my paper work and did my self query in a timely manner, but the person in charge of sending out my paper work never sent it. So I had to redo my self query back in February 2023 and I am still waiting for my license. From what I was explained it takes up to 90 business days to get the license after the paper work was sent, it is currently may and the 90 days are coming to an end. I have sent multiple emails to Emily (the person in charge of sending the paper work to the board) asking if the paper work has been sent out and they are ignored.. where is the urgency in getting students licenses?? It would be one thing if the program was free but I literally spent $18,000 on my future and it seems like no one cares. At this point this so called âschoolâ is just a money hungry place that doesnât deliver on their end of the deal. IT HAS LITERALLY BEEN 6 MONTHS SINCE I FINISHED THE PROGRAM. WHERE IS MY PT LICENSE? HAS MY PAPER WORK EVEN BEEN SENT? WHY IS THERE NO URGENCY? is it because you guys are getting paid regardless? And if not then thatâs the message that...

Warning: I strongly advise against attending North-West College, particularly their Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program. In my experience, the program was misrepresented and lacked transparency.
After attending North-West College, I interviewed with two other schools to compare their DMS programs. I discovered that these schools' programs are more streamlined and efficient, focusing on essential courses rather than unnecessary additions. This starkly contrasts with North-West College's approach, which appears to be designed to extract more money from students by including irrelevant courses.
Unfortunately, the professors showed little understanding and accommodation for my health issues, which led to a hostile learning environment. Furthermore, my concerns about a particular teacher's behavior were repeatedly ignored by the administration.
The lack of support, combined with the financial burden, compelled me to withdraw from the program. I urge prospective students to exercise caution and consider alternative institutions that prioritize academic integrity, student well-being, and...
