Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Siler City

Today, I stopped by this location to order food and use the restroom. While washing my hands, I noticed the water from the restroom sink was brown. I immediately turned off the water and attempted to use another sink, but the issue persisted. I then tried the sink in the dining area, which appeared clearer but still had a tint.

I informed the staff about the situation. However, this raises serious concerns about the water quality and hygiene at this establishment. If the water is indeed contaminated, this could pose significant health risks to both customers and employees. I was so unsettled by the incident that I couldn't finish my meal.

It is alarming that employees were unaware of this issue. Are proper handwashing procedures being followed under these circumstances? I am now left wondering if I unknowingly washed my hands with contaminated water. This situation needs immediate attention to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone at this location. I pray no one gets...

I'm giving these stars only bc I had never been here before. The young man who took our order didn't apparently like his job or us. He basically begrudgingly clicked on the computer screen, didn't smile, didn't greet us. I saw that there was a much older lady who was serving the trays to customer's. She was sweating in her hat, so my husband and I got up to get our order for it was for 4. I was told to sit down, because that's the way they do thing's. I was explaining that, I understood that but wanted to help. He took the order and helped bring it to the table. They DON'T have ranch dressing. 😮. They have what they call BBQ sauce and honey mustard. Fries are thin, the hot dogs are pink, my 4 year old was like gross. BTW my son is not picky. Kids meal is one tender, the chicken thigh I got was pretty much all skin and no meat. Lol. I was so aggravated I just wanted to leave. I asked for a cup of water for my dog and was charged for it. Which I don't have a problem paying for it, bur most companies will give water to you for free. I...

I like the food, if you eat at the restaraunt. Otherwise the fries go soggy and the chicken goes stale by the time you get go your house 4 minutes later. Really a restaraunt for speed eaters. Plus they give you an entire gallon of sweet tea with EVERY. SINGLE. ORDER. There should be an option to not get that, because I don't even like sweet tea. Some people might, but if you're a regular customer there, you'd better have like 20 people at your house or the only drink you consume is tea, in order to prevent it from completely filling your refrigerator. All in all, it's a good place with good intentions, but you should really change the recipe so that it lasts at least a little bit longer, and have the ability to get free tea with your purchase, instead of forcing us to get it every single time we go there.
