It's a Starbucks. Drinks are normal as as expected, atmosphere is that of a normal Starbucks. However I have two complaints.
The parking lot is awful. First you come in through a separated in out opening with a median. The median encourages cars going out to turn right and cars coming in have it easier from the left. The problem is that most cars come from the side of the outcoming side. Where you have to make a more than 90 degree turn to get in. Then you have to drive all the way around through a gap beside the drive thru and find yourself pulling in to one of the six or so front parking spots. If these aren't open, you other choice is to park In the very back and walk up through the drive-thru pretty much.
When I went a few weeks back, it took them 23 minutes to make my drink. Now, had they been busy I would've been frustrated but understanding. They were not busy. They guy making the blended drinks was continually stopping to flirt with a girl who at the time looked like a customer. He would stop for 30+ seconds between each action in the process. I watched him make my drink slowly over the course of the while ordeal. However, at I e point the girl he was talking to jumped behind the counter and started making her drink before scrambling away as she saw a specific employee come out of the back. Read moreI ordered an iced matcha today and what I was handed looked like a cup of milk with the faintest tinge of green. Matcha is green, any trained barista knows this. The fact that it was passed off to me in that state is the real issue. They only offered to remake it after I pointed it out, she looked like she already knew it was wrong and didn’t care, but it should never have gotten that far.
This location is the only one where I consistently get these kinds of results. Sometimes the drinks come out great, but if they don’t, I’m left wondering how they ever made it to the window in the first place. Considering the menu boards literally show what the drink is supposed to look like, it makes no sense how a drink like that could be served.
And please save me with the “We’re sorry to hear about this, please contact us through our website” message. That doesn’t help anyone. What would help is simply making drinks to the standard that Starbucks sets and customers expect. Its really the bare minimum. Read moreI was passing through after a camping trip and in desperate need of a cup of an Americano. I was warmly greeted by two partners upon entering. They asked how I was doing today and if I was having a good morning. All with smiles. I ordered my Americano and breakfast. The barista promptly made it and called my name with a smile. I thanked her and she thanked me back. Instead of them calling for my food for me to come and get it, they brought it to my table. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful. A "regular" came in and ordered and even offered to buy me another coffee. I gratefully said no thank you. It was so nice to come in after a few days camping to such a warm and welcoming environment. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was there was an excessive amount of house flies in the cafe. I wanted to sit in the soft seating, but there were so many in that part of the cafe, I didn't. It's a tough time of the year for flies I know. But a bug bomb would do the trick for sure.
