I eat here often, almost always through the drive-thru. The food is typical Taco Bell (which I generally enjoy) but the staff leaves a lot to be desired. There is usually something wrong with my order, usually something missing. Tonight, I ordered 3 soft taco supremes (had to repeat my order several times because the order taker kept saying āchickenā when I wanted beef... first flag). The amount I was asked to pay was different than what was on the drive-thru screen (second flag). After paying and receiving my food, I had to ask for my receipt (third flag). When I checked my receipt, there was an up-charge for chicken. BUT I didnāt ask for chicken. I returned the food (which was thrown out). After a few minutes, I was given a new bag of food. When I asked for the up-charge back, the person at the window either couldnāt or didnāt know how, so he went to get someone to help. The manager/supervisor came to the window and tried to update the order so they could give me my money back. She obviously didnāt know how. She left, then came back with a key. After pushing more buttons on the cash register screen, she started banging on the register! At that point, I asked for all of my money back. That they were able to do immediately (go figure). The final shocker came when I returned the (second) bag of food and they threw that out too!!! So, to recap: 8:45 pm, no one else on line, I spent at least 10 minutes waiting for food, 6 tacos were trashed, and 2 employees couldnāt figure out how to return $2.50+. Waste of time and waste of...
Ā Ā Ā Read more(review specific to 6520 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA) We went through the drive-thru. There werenāt any cars at the window, but there were two in front of us waiting to order at the speaker. The first car took almost 4 minutes to order (they were told to wait a moment). The second car was just under 5 minutes. No biggie. I donāt mind being patient. Anyway, we place our order: 1 Mexican pizza, one crunchy taco, and two soft tacos. We pull around, and had to wait a few minutes. Again, no biggie. We were both STOKED for tacos!! (Long shopping day!! LOL) Anyway, the lady comes to the window and says āIām sorry, weāre out of beef for another 30 minutes.ā It took my brain a few moments to process that. How does Taco Bell run out of taco meat/beef? And they werenāt busy. She asked if we would like chicken or steak, but itās practically illegal to desecrate a Mexican pizza with anything other than glorious Taco Bell meat-stuff! A solitary tear rolled down my cheek when I told her āno thank youā and drove away. My furbaby cried a little too⦠one of the tacos were for her. Anyway! We donāt have a lot of Taco Bellās around here, so thereās not really any other options⦠but SO MANY TIMES we visit this one, and something is always...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey aren't what they used to be, I find going at a slower time you get a far better product. I was unhappy with my burrito supreme and returned it because I am tired of getting bad products from fast food places. There was barely any filling what was in the middle was the rest of the tortilla and a smidgen of the rest of the ingredients. The one I got after I returned the first one was a bean burrito with a few shreds of lettuce, about 5 pieces of diced tomato , I don't remember any cheese and I did find the sour cream in the last two bites. I used to love taco bell.Maybe I just won't go to that particular one any more .sorry for the long post but I am sure I am not the only one tired of fast foods skating on inferior products. Make it good and correctly we are and will pay the price that particular item is 3.69 and are very inexpensive to make. Not complaining about the price just put the right...
