El Caporal Taqueria — Restaurant in Silverton

This was my first time at this taco truck. Our friends that live nearby. This is one of the favorite places to get tacos. They have a great selection of meats including cabeza, lengua, steak, beef, chicken, fried pork, and more.

I ordered a steak burrito and a steak taco and folks that were with me got chicken tacos. All the food was very well prepared and I thought their salsas tasted good and I had enough heat. Could have used a little more heat LOL but it was tasty enough.

They are located in the Wilco parking lot in Silverton Oregon.

Services was timely. There were several people before and after us, but our wait for the food was not long.

I ordered 2 chicken tacos and 2 steak tacos. The chicken tacos were delicious, some of the best I've ever had! The steak tacos were good but the meat was a bit under seasoned and slightly over done. They were still good, but not nearly as good as the chicken.

My wife got the chicken enchilada plate, which she liked. Her only problem was it didn't have cheese in the enchiladas, which she expected, but I'm guessing that isn't true of authentic enchiladas, maybe? 🤷‍♂️

Either way, after eating my stomach has joyfully content! Would definitely eat...

El Caporal Taco Truck in Silverton Oregon is worth a visit. After mountain biking up at silver falls State Park my son and I were pretty hungry and we were able to get five tacos, a Jarito and leave a $2.50 tip all for $15.

Not much to say outside of the fact that they're good little tacos. There's a little metals stand next to it with some limited seating if you choose to eat there.

But I appreciate it about it was that they are affordable and good and it did not take long for them to have our order ready. Just a great combination of things when you're hungry after riding...
