Behemoth Burgers — Restaurant in Simi Valley

Love this place, a must go and I’m not shy to say it’s one of the best burger joints in the area. It’s a true representation of an original American restaurant—respecting the source of the beef, valuing fresh ingredients, and honoring handmade cooking. From the burgers to the fries and buns, everything is crafted with care.

The burgers are delicious, juicy, and crispy—a rare combo that’s hard to find these days. It may look simple, but it’s rare to find spots like this in the U.S. today. Most places are just chains chasing scale and profit, sacrificing quality. This one is the opposite.

The owner is present, hands-on, greeting customers with a warm “How are you, my friend?”—exactly how it should be. The service is genuine and personal.

Oh my goodness! This is quickly becoming my favorite burger spot in Simi.

When we first walked in, we were a bit confused because the place is labeled as "Steak and Hoagie", but there was a little menu which had the Behemoth Burger menu.

I was a little cautious at first, but I'm glad we stayed! It's a whopping HALF POUND ribeye burger with MORE RIBEYE added on top of it. They are not lying when they call it a Behemoth Burger!

The staff was incredibly kind. They genuinely seemed happy to be have you here and were excited for you to try their food. I've been there twice, both times had different cashiers and both were very polite.

Yesterday, I had put through an online order for my girlfriend and myself, which she drove to the restaurant to pick up after work. She found that the restaurant was closed despite the order. I was upset and left a 1-star review.

However, today the owners reached out to me to let me know that it was a mistake and that they refunded me. A lot of businesses would’ve ignored it and moved on. They took the steps and care to make it right which shows great care for their business and their customers. I’ve had a burger here once before and loved it so I believe the combination of quality food, plus their ownership and response to a mistake makes this a 5-star business. Looking forward to...
