I grew up in a predominantly Mexican neighborhood where you can buy authentic Mexican food. When I moved to Simi Valley, I was happy to find a panaderia in town. Nevertheless, I was disappointed. The concha/shell that I bought was hard; not fresh at all. The tamales were fresh and warm but did not have enough flavor. Not to mention, they are pricey. This panadería is one of the best in Simi Valley. Their Mexican sweet bread is very tasty. Just make sure to ask for the bread made that day. I really like the circular ones with a sugary yellow crust top. It’s got it’s own name call Chilindrina.

The TAMALES are authentic and very delicious too. Highly recommend the ones made with pork w/ red sauce. The cheese tamales are very tasty too.
