First time to subway in probably 2-3 years. I wanted a sandwich. Every. Single. Ingredient. I had to ask for more. I understand when you get low on product, you stretch it. But the woman making it put 6 tiny slivers of onion, I asked for more, and she gave me a hard time. Then the spinach went on. I counted. 4 leaves. 4 leaves of spinach. How satisfied would you be with 4 individual leaves of spinach. I asked for more, again met with resistance. Was then told if I ask for anything else to be what would normally be the proper size, that I would have to be charged extra. I then asked for jalapenos, she put 5. I said are you kidding me, why are you putting you getting low on ingredients on the customer. I was then told "you can go". I said you're right, and left.
I've worked in many different restaurants fast food and high-end. It is always, ALWAYS, first come first serve. If you order an 8oz filet, but we're getting low, you'd be pretty upset if we served you a steak that was cut in half, then told "sorry we're getting low, so you only get half a steak, but you still have to pay for a full steak🤷♂️". Restaurants run out of things, that the nature of it, but when you have a full 3rd pan of onions sitting in front of me, don't give me less than I am supposed to get, then say "if you want the proper amount you're paying for, you have to pay extra." But even after all of that, for her to have to throw away all those ingredients anyways🤣(at least I hope she threw them out, seeing how that experience went, she probably just put them back in the pan, cross contaminating everything) I should have just went with my instinct and went to Jersey Mike's, at least you get what you pay for there. So I did, and man, 11/10 to Jersey Mike's!
Speaking of customer experience, while I was in there, a woman came in complaning that her significant other lost a tooth after biting something hard in his sandwich. The person behind the counter said "🤷♀️I'm just gonna Google the number, so if you want it, just Google...

Last night, I placed an order at 10:05pm as I was getting off work, since both the app and google maps said they closed at 11pm, and the app even let me place the order, and said it would be ready by 10:30. I show up at 10:15, and all the lights were off, but I saw 2 employees behind the counter. I assumed they were working on my order, so I waited. Come 10:30, the app says my order is ready. I come up to the door, but I see no one inside. I decide to drive around back to the drive-thru, and the employee cars were gone, they both left already. And the only way to cancel my order was to call the store, which obviously, was closed. So I was out $17 with no food.
I came back today around 1pm to get my order, and they had the receipt for it in the back, so it obviously came through. The manager told me back at the start of COVID, they cut closing hours back to 10pm, but clearly it wasnt updated in their app or on maps. I asked if I could get some kind of discount or refund on the purchase for the inconvenience, and all the manager could offer me was 3 cookies. That doesn't really make up for the inconvenience, but it keeps this review from being 1...
Read morePlaced an order online for a two foot long meatball subs...after 15 mins when we pulled in the parking lot we get a phone call saying they are "outta meatballs". So we said ok cancel the order. After hanging up my husband and I look at our bank account and see the money has already been taken out. So we call them back to ask when our money will be placed back into our account. They said they didn't know they would have to call owner. She calls us back and says the owner didn't know to call corporate. When asking for corporate phone number she said "I don't know you can google it". So we google it and call corporate. They say they will call the owner and see what's going on. We waited 4 days no call, we call back and get the same response.. after waiting two days we call corporate back and he tells us it's awaiting owner approval and it should be fixed over the weekend well here we are on Monday and money still hasn't been placed into our account! We received nothing from this subway and even though it's only 12 dollars we would like our money back!! I'm not donating...
