Customer service was horrible and staff acted like they didn’t want to do their job. My phone was dropped in a foot of water for a very brief amount of time. The phone continued to work for hours with no issues. Once the battery died, I attempted to charge it. The phone vibrated like normal, attempted to turn on with the apple logo and then nothing. My wireless charger showed that the phone was charging but no attempt made would get the device to turn on. I brought the phone in the next day so Mac pros explaining what happened. I made it very clear that I did not care about the phone itself, I just wanted my 200gb of pictures/videos as I did not have it backed to iCloud (my fault). 2 men talked to me, while arguing with each other about costs of services at time. I was offered to send my phone into the professionals who deal with water damage and fire restoration. Was originally told it was free to send to these ppl and they would charge up to 4k if they could access my photos/videos. Then the other guy said “it’s not free. Hasn’t been for over a year”. I asked if there was any chance the screen was just bad. They said “water damage is catastrophic to phones so it’s unlikely”. I asked if there is a chance the phone could dry out enough for it to turn on quick to transfer the data. Was told maybe. I literally was open to doing anything as I had my children’s pictures that I wanted to save. I was there maybe 30 minutes before I was desperate and had to ask them to simply try to get the phone to turn on by doing their tech job. Prior to this point, not a single person had even touched my phone. They seemed annoyed with me. One guy told the other guy to “just plug it into that monitor” as he pointed to a random computer And then walked away. The other guy grabbed my phone and didn’t seem to know what to do so he followed the other guy. They both went into a back room, seemingly frustrated with me for asking them to simply try, and within 5 minutes I was receiving texts on my Apple Watch.. showing that they had my phone on. I was so close to losing 200 gb of pictures and videos or about to drop an insane amount of money for something that took them 5 minutes to do. And turns out, it was just the screen that went out. In the end, I got my pictures/videos and I’m thankful for that. But the process was awful and the customer service/willingness to work could have been...

I chose themto replace my iphone battery as they were the closest authorized apple business not named Best Buy to me. Was hoping for a professional experience since it was a 65 mile one way trip for me. Confirmed they had a battery in-stock before scheduling the service appointment.
Apple Support claims these places do not need your password or passcode, these guys did. A 2-hour service turned into 2+ days and 2 extra hours out of my way, plus gas money to retrieve the phone after they broke the screen while opening it up to replace the battery. But hey, the checkout guy joked that they threw in a free screen protector and then acted like replacing the screen was a generous gift from them. The one they broke.
Email receipts from them show the my total service fee was $89.They tacked on an extra $20 for labor plus tax = $115. When asked about the incident, I was told the screen breaking is part of the process. No discount given for the inconvenience on my end.
Easy appointment scheduling and nice automated email system to communicate updates.Terrible customer service with employees who act like they know it all along with deceptive pricing and process.

Read moreGiving 3 stars because the man who helped me in the store was very nice and friendly, otherwise I’d probably give it a 1. Brought my 4 month old iPhone 11 Max Pro a week ago today in because the speaker blew unexpectedly. It ended up failing the audio test so they said they would send it to Apple’s warehouse to be fixed. At first, I was told it’d be 1-3 days so I wouldn’t qualify for a loaner phone. Then, it got switched to 4-6 days when they called me after I left. Called yesterday (6 days since bringing it in) and they told me that they were seeing it had just gotten there the day before but they had no more information. The guy was very apologetic and encouraged me to call back every day to get an update. Called today and the employee was very short and rude & was absolutely no help at all to know the status of my phone. Thank goodness I had my old iPhone 7 to use or else I wouldn’t have had a phone for a week now (but I don’t “qualify” for a loaner because it was supposed to be within 1-3 days.) I understand that they don’t have a ton of information - that’s on Apple and not on the employees. However, the service and way you treat customers should always be 100% and this man’s was definitely not. Wish he had said his name so I knew who to specifically call out but...
