Well, this was an experience to say the least. I'm up early so I thought I'd write this review. My roommate and I used the Taco Bell mobile app last night thinking that it would get us a better deal and that we may possibly get our food faster. Honestly, we had low expectations but holy cow did they manage to somehow lower it. We pulled into the drive through. From there we were told to make a u-turn to find a waiting spot on the other side of the building. All good so far. We then waited and watched as 9+ other cars pulled off with their orders, including a few cars that were also told to go to the food-waiting spots. All of these cars arrived after us and left before us. And yes, our order was super basic. So that wasn't the issue. But honestly I feel bad for them too because they also waited longer than anyone should for fast food. We all factually would've received our food faster at a sit down restaurant. But under-staffing happens I guess. We finally got our food, and of course several parts of the order ended up being wrong, including many of the extras we paid for. At this point we didn't even expect there to be edible food in the bag, so this was a win. The fact that it wasn't just fried deer hooves was a godsend. Though we weren't looking at the clock, my roommate and I figured that we waited about 40 minutes for our food from when we entered it into the app (right before we pulled into the drive through). I did feel bad for the girl running out to deliver food to all the cars because it seemed like she was doing everything by herself. But that's still the franchise's fault for obviously under-staffing and under-paying employees. She also got one of our drinks wrong but at this point we were just happy it wasn't poisoned. There should be no reason a million/billion dollar company can't properly staff a store that makes them boat loads of money. No hate to anyone working that night. Unless they were fully staffed and some of them were just slacking off. Definitely not the girl working the drive-through and running food to cars....
Read moreSo, this is always hard. I'm sure the workers are trying, but they didn't have a full staff, couldn't take orders at the counter because the cash drawer was broken. Made everyone use their order kiosks, which were not intuitive. There was one other customer inside and no one in the drive-through when we arrived. By the time they told us there was no one at the counter or behind the counter to help us, there was a line of cars in the drive-through. By the time we ordered, the three people working frantically, two on the line and one working the drive-through, were completely overwhelmed, and the dining room was filling up with people. From what we could tell, the youngest person was in charge and didn't appear to have a good command of the operation. It took over a half hour from the time we completed our order to the time we got our order. The customers in the dining room were very frustrated. They were understaffed in a rundown restaurant and without sufficient equipment for the task or the training to handle what they did have. And the men's bathroom was horrible. Yelp gives them one star. My wife said, "Well, they earned that one star." And I replied, "Nope. They haven't even earned that." I feel bad for the employees. We did eat, but our order wasn't even right. My wife ordered hardshell taco supremes: they failed to put sour cream on them. But, unfortunately, it wasn't worth waiting to try and get it remedied. Read moreTerrible service and terrible attitudes by the employees especially one specific younger African American male and the manager on duty at the time. They messed up our whole order after my wife asked at the window if that was everything or not. We pulled over to look after the drive thru lady gave us attitude saying "well I assume that would be it" and noticed we were missing almost half our food but yet they gave us some food we didn't even order. My wife went inside to try to get the right food and the younger male said she was lying and that he gave us more food than we ordered. Long story short is that we asked for our money back by management and she acted unprofessional and had such a bad attitude having to refund us. It took over 25 mins for her to just give us the refund (or we thought we got it). After waiting over a week for our refund to go into our bank it never did. It's now been almost 2 weeks and it's still not in our account. Tried calling to get the refund but the lady on the phone called me a liar that I already had gotten the refund after I said I would bring in the receipt and also show her my bank statement.
