Some of the worst customer service & cleaning/food I've ever experienced in my LIFE!!! The OWNER himself told me that I needed to memorize the menu as I was placing an order to take home & this restaurant messed up my order completely & the OWNER tells me to memorize the menu & know how to place an order properly so they don't make a mistake. What's so hard about comprehending an order of rice/beans for 5 people along w/flour tortillas? That was ALL I ordered & somehow I become the waitress & NOT the customer anymore!!! If I wanted Mexican Food w/can flavored sauce them I could just cook @ home truthfully! Anytime I've ever went to this restaurant (either eastside or Westside) the tables were sticky & not cleaned up after & definitely wasn't busy there either, but staff had no problem about sweeping the floors under your feet while you're trying to eat. Where's the Customer Service & true authentic flavor in the Spanish food? There's 2 other places here in town that know how to make REAL/TRUE AUTHENTIC SPANISH FOOD & this...
Read moreThis was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had in Sioux fall or at any restaurant! We walked in at 9pm well aware that the closing time was at 10pm on a Friday night. It was me and my friend and my 1 year old daughter. We were sat with menus and left there for 5 min. The server came back and asked us to order because they would be closing at 9:30. I ordered a margarita which was the weakest margarita I have ever had. I ordered an entree that was supposed to come with beans so I could share with my daughter. Only to be told it doesn’t. It doesn’t say it but I guess it was written in invisible ink. The queso lacked any flavor. The server never came to check in after that. I had to get up and ask for the checks. We simply handed her 2 cards and asked her to split it down the middle. Apparently that is a request that they can’t do. I will NEVER BE BACK! I have been in the rest industry for 10+ years and this is no way to treat a guest. Don’t waste your...
Read moreMy wife suggested this place. Since this place was her go to date place before we were married, I figured, why not try the food and give it a terrible review, right??
It's a small place, which I love. Decor is nice, gives off the vibe of a family owned restaurant. Immediately upon being seated, our waiter greeted us with chips and salsa. He was very friendly. The salsa was very good. Very spicy, which I love.
We ordered Margaritas and 2 lunch specials. Food came out pretty quickly. Everything looked decent. My wife's dish was good. Chicken was slightly dry and under seasoned but overall was good. My shrimp was also slightly over cooked and underseasoned but delicious overall. My Margarita was huge and good.
While I feel the food was a 3 out of 5 stars, the service, atmosphere and prices made the overall experience a 4 out for 5. With a tip, our 2 meals and a huge drink was only $40. When I'm in the area or out on a date without the wife,...
