⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5
I recently visited Al's Pizza, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Here’s why Al's Pizza deserves a five-star review:
Ambiance: As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor strikes a perfect balance between modern and cozy, making it an ideal spot for both any meal. The lighting is just right, creating a comfortable environment to enjoy a meal with family or friends.
Service: The staff at Al's Pizza are exceptional. From the moment we we walked in, the employees were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The wait time for our order was impressively short as well.
Food: The highlight of Al's Pizza is, of course, the food. We had an All Meat Pizza, which was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of spices and herbs. We also ordered some Italian Sandwiches and some Buffalo Deluxe Nachos. Both were phenomenal. The Italian was perfectly plump with fresh veggies and the nacho was AMAZING! You can tell this place takes pride in their work, the product and their service.
We also tried their world famous Whoopie Pies.....they are to die for! You won't find any better.
Drinks: They had a huge selection of cold beverages in their coolers. Plenty to choose from for yourselves or little ones.
Value: Considering the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the pleasant atmosphere, Al's Pizza offers fantastic value for money. Portion sizes are generous, and prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for regular visits.
Overall: Al's Pizza has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots. Whether you’re a pizza aficionado or just looking for a great place to enjoy a delicious meal, Al's Pizza has something for everyone. The combination of outstanding food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment makes it a must-visit. I highly recommend it and can’t...
Read moreAs a customer: I've had pizza from this place on multiple occasions and it's decent. Not amazing, but pretty good. The breakfast pizza is where it's at, that's pretty dang good if we're being honest. The restaurant atmosphere is okay, plenty of seating. The bathroom isn't top quality nor the cleanest. The staff are a hit and miss attitude-wise. I can't really complain, but I cant really praise either.
As an employee: I worked here in 2018 for about a month before I'd had enough. I would not recommend working here to anyone. Training is short and inadequate which may explain the inconsistencies stated in other reviews. Employees are trained by other staff members who are nice at first and then suddenly become rude and unapproachable. It seems to be made up of "cliquey" young people who care about nothing besides themselves. I was constantly put on cleaning duty and they had the audacity to wonder why I wasn't getting it. I was told that it wasn't working out by the manager who was never around to understand WHY. I finally decided to just quit entirely instead of trying to explain something to someone who wasn't there to address the issue anyways.
In conclusion, I believe that this place needed a lot more professional management and better training. I hope that they have since gotten a new manager who actually engages in their employees' training and concerns. If they can keep it consistent and possibly improve the atmosphere, they'd be doing a lot better. Not a bad place, decent food, just got some room for...
Read moreI had visited in March 2018 for the first time, I had come with a guest. After ordering, I received a phone call and needed to leave and return for my food. After about 20 minutes, my guest and I had returned and gotten our order and sat down to eat. The nachos we shared were barely topped and cold, the chips were stale, and flavorless, and the beef was dry and crusty. The "steak sandwich" I had had dry, less crusty shaved beef "thrown" inside a dry roll with little of the garnishes. My guest had an Italian sub, and offered me half because she saw the condition of my food, (and had tried to share the nachos). We both thought the sub was excellent. Most of the nachos and all but about three bites of my sandwich were thrown away. All in all, it cost about 20 dollars for me to share a sub with a friend in a cold restaurant, and go...
