Ok, so I was starving today & really wanted GOOD pizza. I was told about M&M. I did a crazy thing in my hangry state, & paid the extra for Waitr...then twiddled my thumbs like a maniac because I was at work & had no choice. It was delivered by a very nice man (shout out to Waitr & Hal), a bit early & I rushed into the kitchen and started eating right from the box. Now let me say, upon first impression it really doesn't look like much. In my honest opinion it's almost like a frozen pizza in appearance because it's sort of a semi thin crust, but not really & it's sorta greasy & there's a blend of white & yellow colored cheese. Get what I'm saying? BUT, I'm so glad I have a level head, open mind & was starved (remember, I was already eating at this point). It was so good! I was very surprised. I loved that the cheese went almost to the edge of the crust. Nice touch. Toppings are pricey, but I realize their reasoning is due to quality. Ehhh...I guess peppers & onions are of the utmost quality & worth it. Glad Slidell has a good pizza place. My only disappointment was in that crust. I mean, it's good, but not the N.Y-bubbles-type, thin hand-tossed kinda crust, if you know what I mean. But again, I really enjoyed this pizza! I also got a cannoli. I adore cannoli! They're only $1 for a small one. A small is small, just so you are aware. Totally perfect though. You don't need to be unable to walk after your meal. I ate 5 slices of my pizza & my cannoli, just for reference....
Read moreHello y’all had the spaghetti and meatballs in red gravy. It is not acidic, kinda sweet and a little spice to it. I thought it was good. The meatballs get the job done. I had the green house salad it was pretty good. Cool layout, lots of outdoor light. And they have roll up doors and patio for fair weather days. FYI Worth the 5 minute trip from the interstate. The train going by is cool too.
Hello y’all. I love properly made pizza. I do not eat greasy chain pizza. So I don’t eat pizza often around the dell. Until I came across this joint. The previous pizzeria was… ok. But there is a new family running it. And it is a tasty pizza. It’s not greasy, they make their own sauce etc. and the meatballs are great too. The chicken wings are good size and not full of fat. What I also like is they don’t drown the pizza in cheese, and they season it. (If you want a boatload of cheese they will do it, but you’ll ruin it! ) Also the pizza is thin and not to hard and not to soft. They are also really good at cutting tavern style! So that’s cool. Apparently they are moving to the old bruisers hotdog stand fyi. The folks running it are pretty cool. The only thing they need is a few good draft beers and thick glass mugs to deep freeze for beer! They have a few big brands in bottles currently. Good job...
Read moreUPDATE 2: The charge disappeared from my credit card account, so I am updating the star ratings for this restaurant. The manager was not very kind when advised of the order taken by the online system while the business was empty and locked. I think some sort of compensation should be offered, since I drove all the way to Front St and spent several minutes checking all the doors. I had to make new plans for lunch, too.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I just ordered a pizza online at your Front St location bit there is NO ONE at the restaurant! All doors locked 🔒! But my credit card was charged $30!
UPDATE: I am certainly not going to drive anywhere near that parade route tonight! You can refund me the same way you charged me -- through the online order system.
No need to be snarky -- I will change the star rating once my issue has been resolved with a full...
