Times Grill — Restaurant in Slidell

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Times Grill, and let me tell you, it was a delicious adventure with a side of unexpected excitement. I'm giving this place a solid four stars because the food was outstanding, but I'll explain why it's not a perfect five. Buckle up and hop on board for this review! The only reason I didn't give them a full five stars is because of the occasional wait times during peak hours. But hey, good food takes time, right? Absolutely disgusting place with probably the worst service you could get. Place is close to my office so I have been there 2 times now. The first time was a joke. Waitress lost our order then spent 20 minutes sitting at the bar talking to the bartender while we waited for our drinks. Food finally came and was just okay. Burger not cooked all the way, no time to wait for recook. Fries were rubbery and cold. Mistakenly tried again thinking every place has an off day. Server was incredibly rude from the minute we sat. Appeared upset when I asked about specials. Never brought lemons I asked for FOUR times. As we waited for our apps, the largest cockroach I have EVER seen crawled across our table. I was incredibly startled and moved tables without waiting for the server. She was incredibly upset I had moved and implied it was no big deal about the bug because "this was a restaurant and every restaurant I go to will have roaches OR WORSE." I was slightly shocked and said that I didn't think that was true because of the health department regulations. She just laughed and walked away. Food was awful. Somehow even worse than before. Went into the restroom and saw 2 dead roaches on the floor. Kitchen looked filthy as I passed by. Just really unkempt and unclean is the general vibe of this place. Will not be back. Here’s an updated to the my last review! So we are ordered again I spoke with Dave this man was so kind and sincere about wanting to know what the problem was because he really wanted it fixed. And unfortunately, I admit, I did not call after I received that order that one time. So it’s only fair that I apologize for giving such a harsh rating. Since all of our previous experiences were first class 5 star quality it’s only fair that I change my original review to my three stores but I must say they are we just received is outstanding my neighbor just passed by and saw the onion rings I just open the container and she said wow! I didn’t know you could get onion rings like that anymore I feel like I’m going in the past this is fabulous where did this come from and I explain that we got it from times and so forth and she said “well I guess what that’s where Our family is going to eat tonight “. Dave, i’m just letting you know , not only is Times # 1 on our list.. we are letting everyone know… IF YOU WANT A GREAT PLACE TO EAT .. go no further…If you’re at Times Grill in Slidell ….
