Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Slidell

10-8-21 Chilis needs some serious help getting the restraunt back in order.

Host constantly had issues and was skipping over people then telling them to come in only to send them back out to wait but then took next group that would walk in without ever seating the multiple people who were already on the list.

Bar tender was super loud and obnoxious and could be heard across the restaurant complaining about her previous job while fighting and arguing with the guy she was training neither of which could make a proper drink

They were out of straws and waiter kept asking us to provide him with straws for his other customers 🙄

Waiter kept forgetting to put our order in

They were out of many dishes cups bowls and plates even both washable and go items

Chili's today was the absolute worst it could have been. Let's start at the beginning wrong drink brought out question weather they were out of the drink ordered no they had it server put it in wrong never corrected... next place appetizers order brings out chips without dip remind server it didn't come out as food is being served get dip so appetizers didn't really get ate due to dip not being brought out when it should had been brought out. So out comes the food 3 of 4 plates completely wrong. 1 plate never fixed. Other plates were sorta corrected but not really. Manager comes out put all blame on server that she put orders in wrong again okay so someone else brings out the half corrected order and takes a plate that was messed up ... so we tolerate this constant flow of mistakes still don't get the rest of the stuff that should have been served with the main course remind waiter once again that things still are not correct. Nothing... drinks remain empty even after requesting refills. Plates not cleared from table the cookie desert takes 45 mins after finished eating even though ordered when we sat down get bill prior to even being given the desert and refills requested plates still on table as well even though they were staked and waiting for waitress to pick up and asked to remove some of it so we could have some more room at the table no they were left and even there when we actually left we did finally get the refills as we are walking out the door but this was after a very long wait as after waiting all that time for desert even we were still waiting on our change to come out we use to really enjoy chili's but after tonight I wouldn't...

10/18/2022 The host/hostess walked us around in a big circle of empty, clean tables before sitting us at the first table we had passed. (Was kind of weird) Our waitress took our order, brought out the drinks, then she brought out the two appetizers. But for some reason, a different waitress brought out our main meal that had the wrong fries and there was globs of butter on the buns of our two Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Our waitress fixed the mix up with the fries by bringing out the correct style fries that we ordered. But they were over cooked and not so fresh. Througout our entire time in the restaurant, ALL the staff members were coming out of the kitchen (not all at once) standing on either side of the entrance to the kitchen, staring only at the 3 people at my table. The host stared the most. She stared so much that my 13 year old son had to switch seats due to the discomfort, this put his back towards the kitchen. Now he and I were facing the double doors entrance/exit. Then the host decided to come to clean the glass on those double doors. And the other waitress that brought out our main meal decided to come act like she was doing something on the computer at the host podium/station. I ended up asking the host was everything okay because she continued to stare me in my face while she was holding a conversation with that other waitress on the computer. We felt so uncomfortable that we put everything in to-go plates and attempted to leave. But before leaving I wanted to get a picture of the sign hanging between the two double doors. (Because it had my little sister's first and last name on it. I wanted to send it to her) The other waitress (the one that brought out our main meal) followed us, reopened and held the double doors behind us smiling and laughing, asking was everything okay. The entire experience was the weirdest most uncomfortable situation that I've ever had at a restaurant. Mind you, this is the only restaurant that my son likes food at and will eat at. Update, returned at 7 pm. 10/23/2022 We stood at the door waiting to be seated, for 10 minutes, someone came around finally and told us, there would be at least a 20 minute waiting period, before we could be seated. The place couldn't have been 20% of capacity, if that much.....it was empty! My wife asked what the problem was, the reply was the same. I didn't let speedy finish what he was saying, and told my wife, "lets go somewhere, they would appreciate customers". We went to Phil's Marina Cafa, instead. It was delicious, thank you Speedy for sending us away. Oh by the way, they had about the same amount of customers and we were seated and taken care of immediately. "Hey Speedy, The wattress got a $20.00 tip for 15 minutes of walking" So, Chili's moved way down on the list ( of places to go) with their dirty floors. ....forget the orginal review, that when like this.....Great Price for the quality of the food. The service was above and beyond. The food, was delicious. I will be returning more often. But, the place is outdated, it has ground-in dirt. The restroom has that soaked in pee smell. The front doors are in need of paint. The walls need painting. I was sitting at a booth and thought at first, someone blew their nose on the wall, but looking a little harder, I could see it was just all chipped up and missing paint. I have seen barns with cleaner and better looking floors. Not that the employees are not cleaning them, they are so worn out, they are permanently nasty. Honestly, the place where I get my oil changed in my truck, have 10 times cleaner...
