As a business owner married to a VP in Houston, we understand it is hard to hire good millennials. I am going to blame half of this on management and the lack of training her staff for the 6am rush and the other half on an arrogant punk who thought bowing up at me in the 2nd drive thru window, who was NOT at his work station for over a minute to take my payment after a coffee order in the 1st drive thru window, was impressive or even necessary. In fact, I couldn't trust him with my card and asked for another lady to take it back there. If I can't trust you to be at your work station to even know I'm supposed to stop there, you ain't gonna open that window with your chest stuck out and get access to my credit card. Then before I pulled off, that lady had a smart mouth talking about, "That was crazy", and if I had had a cup of coffee in me, I would have lit that whole place up with their lack of efficiency (his excuse was he was mopping during the 6am rush so I blame manager and lack of training in time management of where you need to be instead of mopping), their lack of competency, although it's a minimum wage entry level job and you can't expect more than an 85 IQ so I am being reasonable here, and the whole passive aggressive attitude doesn't work with those of us who are real, corporate gangsters who chew little fools up all day like this for fun for big bucks. We don't mind brawling for real and ain't scared to bond out when we reach out and touch some punk lol... I thought about calling the franchisee and corporate, but we know they can't find good peasants either and I knew I should have just stopped in that Starbucks I passed. Something told me to stop and after this, dealing with McDonald employees are like going into a WalMart on the first of the month...Starbucks are always a pleasure to deal with so it's worth paying more! What an impression Slidell, LA left. Swamp rats...
Read moreThey open whenever they want even tho is advertised as 24/7 Update 2025 they are still taking 10 minutes for hashbrowns and ask you to pull up while everybody gets their food and yours is sitting there getting COLD and then lie and say “it just came up” when I’m literally watching her give fresh food to others. Sick of this location Update: Some people charging $1 for a large water and ringing it up like a sweat tea special request doesn’t even make sense. Majority of the time I come here I get a free water so ringing it up as something else is suspicious af? If it was really a $1 why isn’t there a button for it?! Because y’all over charging folks then when I asked about it the girl taking my order wanna interrupt me and have an attitude telling me I can only bd eat a small water for free lmao when the other time somebody tried to charge me at this location they told me small and mediums are free. All the money McDonald’s makes and y’all trying to charge $1 for a cup of water? Sad as shit. Shoutout to those giving folks free large water as they should. Y’all got some sad ass employees.
please hire more people for the night shift. They are literally serving 1 customer/car at a time and having folks wait to take their orders????? Took 30 minutes to get 6 nuggets and a small fry
It’s a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is fresh and sometimes it’s not. Sometimes I have good, clear water and sometimes I do not (this was my “water” this morning.... why would you give...
Read moreSometimes the buns are just a little stale, or small things like making coffee and my oatmeal as I ordered it. It's really hard to complain because I see the employees working and communicating well with coworkers, but at the same time, I don't see the behind the scenes picture. Understanding purchasing, ordering, honestly handling your product that will in fact expire, or mishandled and causing waste. Managers have to realize they are responsible for it all. You are only as good as your weakest team member, whom does not have to be recognized as a bad employee. Even if you get rid of that employee, the one employee that was just above the weakest replaces them, or worse, the new hire is and that tends to be felt throughout the team and clearly puts the new hire at an unfair disadvantage. So, back to the manager. It's a team and the manager is part of the team as a player, and not just the coach. Just because you trust your strongest workers doesn't mean they don't get everything right and notify you when they were wrong. Managers have to evaluate everyone. Starting with their self everyday. I think the little problems occurring at this store most likely occur because the manager is overwhelmed. Maybe they need a vacation, or a short reset. Maybe pressure from outside work is demanding attention and as with everyone else, juggling everything, no matter how how great their focus,...
