UPDATE 01/01/2019:
They keep the dining area cleanly and organized but the soda fountain is always covered in empty straw paper and there is always soda syrup on the counter. The girl that took our order was a bit rude and standoffish, but that seems to be the case wherever my wife and I go shopping or dining in South, LA. The local culture breeds on envy rather than gestures of appreciation. Oh if people only knew the secret to success is a change of character. Anyways, my wife of 10 years continually amazes me with how humble she is even when confronted by jealous individuals.
There was only one car ahead in the drive-through which I always appreciate shorter lines, especially while traveling. My kids always get the same thing, the bigger plate with teriyaki chicken sauce on top, orange chicken and all chow mein with mushroom chicken on the side. I put the mushroom chicken on top of the chow mein with the zucchini believe the mushrooms out, works for me because I love mushrooms! There a chicken mushroom sauce is to die for! Great location, very accessible, crew and staff were friendly, and the food was nice and fresh! Would definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat that always has...
Read moreI arrived at the drive thru and maybe about 1 min later the young lady on the intercom states to wait and she would be with me… 5 mins later she comes back and tells me I can order (mind you there is no one in the drive thru and I saw one car in the lot) but she did kindly state she was sorry for the wait and so I just let it go.I ordered a bowl with black pepper steak and super greens thinking for $1.50 extra surely they will give you some steak. What I received was a vegetable bowl for $12. I had 3 pieces of chopped steak in the bowl that I searched for and some of it I had to chew and spit it was so tough. The broccoli in the super greens was the hardest broccoli I’ve ever had in my life!! Thankfully the heat from the vegetables in the steak dish slightly steamed the other veggies in the super greens. If I could get my money back I would but I had my autistic son in the car and I knew going back around would’ve been hard on him. This is overpriced food that I wouldn’t serve my enemy. Idk I really liked them years ago.
I attached a pic of what was left I didn’t want to show the spit out steak *

Read moreI had always enjoyed Panda Express elsewhere but to be honest, Slidell Panda Express hadn't quite lived up to my memories -- until this most recent trip! The food was super fresh, the service was excellent and I was very pleased with the entire experience. I had the 2-item plate with my go-to Broccoli Beef which was better than it usually is. I tried the Mushroom Chicken for the first time and it was fantastic. It has mushrooms and zucchini as well as onion and delicious morsels of tasty chicken. It's quickly risen to a favorite on my list of dishes at Panda Express. I always get half chow mein and half fried rice and sometimes these are relatively lackluster--seemingly an afterthought to the main dishes most of the time. This time, however, they were both clearly freshly prepared with good proportions of all ingredients and very tasty. This was the first time I was totally satisfied by my choice of Panda Express in Slidell. I will definitely be back though, and I am looking forward to a great, inexpensive quick...
