Smalls Sliders — Restaurant in Slidell

Great little place amongst the hustle and bustle of Slidell shopping and restaurants. Smalls has a very unique look to it. The drive through is surprisingly long, meaning you're not blocking a parking area, driveway, or road while waiting to give your order. Very simple menu.

If you want burgers this is the place. Bread is great, burger is delicious. Burger to bun to cheese ratio is on point! Even their own special sauce is good, they even throw on a pickle for an extra crunch.

Their fries are surprisingly good. Do you like Arby fries? If so these are even better, larger too. Not too much skin, not soggy or super greasy.

They have bottomless soft drinks, 3 types of milkshakes, chocolate, vanilla, and cookies and cream.

Lastly they have extra queso to purchase. This is my only gripe about the food. Small container of the cheese was quite expensive for what we got. I believe the cheese was about $1.50. Still good cheese but not worth the cheddar.

The outdoor seating area is nice, they had clean seating area with tables, and a couple fans blowing as it was about 100 degrees. Terf flooring. The service was good, but between the traffic and the noise in the kitchen the guy taking our order at the walk-up window and I both had a hard time hearing each other.

All in all a nice place to visit for a grab-n-go type of restaurant. Great for parents taking the kids, as there isn't a toy to fight over and there isn't a lot of options,...

Okay, full disclosure, I was involved in the building process of this restaurant, and if anything it's only added to my enjoyment. This place doesn't look like much, in fact, I was shocked to see the final product being a use of conex containers crafted into an incredible arrangement of operations and shade. Major kudos for the design team and execution. Now for what you care about, the food is nothing new, nor unique, but undeniably delicious and simple. The burgers aren't over seasoned, and the toppings are pretty standard aside from the "Sauce" which is similar to Mac sauce but less 1000 island like in flavor. I enjoy the simplicity and the savor of the smash style slider. The Fries are good, I love waffle fries, and if you really want the experience add a couple cups of queso for that extra element. The shakes are good, and thick, and the floats are what they are meant to be, simple and delicious. The only setback was the staff, they seemed a little lost, and I had am awkward exchange that ended with a slow motion window slide that felt as awkward as it looked. Nothing the kid did was wrong nor worthy of the 3 stars awarded, I think it's just a product of today's youth work force not understanding smiles go a long way. I will continue to come here because the price is fair, and the wife loves this place. Great addition...

I’m writing this review from my Hotel. I just have to say that this place is a hidden gem. I have to add on that this is the best burger and fries I have ever indulged, and that’s not including the amazing Lemonade. Compared to California’s In-Out and Texas’s WhatABurger, this place is the winner by far. I actually went to Arby’s for Fathers Day around 9:30PM before they closed at 10:00PM they did not want to take my order because it was too late. So next to Arby’s was Smalls Sliders. I have never heard of this place. I didn’t know what this place was about besides slider’s, from what I can read by the sign. Very easy simple menu. The staff were very nice, friendly and patient. I did let the lady know it was mine and my wife’s first time. So we placed our order the #1 for the mrs. and the #3 for me with Sweet tea and a Lemonade. We Got back here to our hotel. And indulged on these sliders. From the presentation of the food, to the taste of the food, everything was amazing. The drinks were very hydrating and refreshing. Will I be getting these sliders again? Most definitely! I would have to get more than just 3 sliders. I will be eating at this place at least a couple more times before we head back home.
