Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Slidell

I just moved here from mass and I was soooooo excited to eat Popeyes in Louisiana and when I found out there was one close by let me tell you they didn't disappoint first let's talk about customer service the best I've seen in a long time the woman who took my order I think her name was Mrs. Denise there was also another woman who helped by the name of Mrs. Sylvia if I got yall mixed up I apologize but Mrs. Denise was a pleasure her politeness her patience and by patience I mean ( I'm married to a man child and he kept texting me to change his order lol ) and her professionalism was amazing she truly was all about customer satisfaction and making sure everything was correct then I asked if I could change it to spicy and they had already packed it but they said absolutely not a problem and that's when the lovely woman who I hope I got each their names to the correct person lol but she was sweet as pie she switched the mild to spicy and then continued to double check my order and also was all about customer satisfaction and let me tell you the woman who took my order shocked me and I was speechless which don't ever happen but my husband wanted a strawberry lemonade and we ordered jumbo and I've never had someone explain to me that a jumbo drink for lemonade don't come jumbo mam just so you know and they even showed the size difference in the cup size and confirmed cup size again just to make sure I knew the size difference and I knew what I was asking and paying for it was all in all I must say for a fast food restaurant a chain one at that it was the best experience I have ever had in my life at a fast food restaurant and the food was amazing fresh hotter fries weren't soggy chicken was crispy..... and I can honestly say as long as I live in Louisiana I will be going to this Popeyes and this Popeyes only keep up the great work guys and let me tell you for me to ask for both their names to show good work these two woman deserve to be recognized for their great customer service and great...

I am very displeased with the disrespectful engagement of the staff at this location. I ordered a simple tackle box, the lady on the mic started off pleasant. She asked me, was that all… As I’m asking my eight year old kid what does he want, she must have assumed I was talking to her and said huh. I didn’t respond to her and continued to collect my sons order from him. Abruptly the lady taking the order says… baby look $6.49. I responded and said, what, as I became irritated and irate. I dashed around to the first window and asked the lady at the window was that her talking to me like that. She said no, the girl that was already rude, appeared (mind you she was a grown woman) to the window. She comes and say I didn’t say baby look 6.49, I said baby 6.49 then proceeds to tell me how she’s been nice all day as of it was a favor to me and any other customer. I told her she was a lie. She cut me off as I was trying give my second order by saying bay look 6.49 as if my time was up.

The most ironic part of it all is I still had to order my sons food so the manager (light skin, slim, older woman) came and had to adjust the order. She looked at me, didn’t say a word and was very non apologetic. She looked as if she was scared of the rude madame. The lady collecting the money (chocolate and pretty) was apologetic, nice and reassuring).

I wish I could give this place zero stars!!! The evening shift needs to be fired. I placed my order on my mobile app and still waited 20 minutes after getting to the restaurant to receive my order. I was asked after waiting 10 minutes in the drive through line to wait in the parking lot because my order wasn't ready. I asked how long and was told after a sigh and eye roll "I don't know" another woman came to the window and told me that it would be "10 to 8 minutes" before rudely insisting that I wait in the parking lot. This weak service and absolute discourteousness is constant at this location. There is always an extended wait in the drive though line and the employees treat the customers as an inconvenience. Whatever you are paying these people is way to much!!!

Relpy to your reply: My discourteousness was not percived it was actual. I am not being emotional, irrational, nor did I imagine it so you trying to give your crew an out is very disingenuous. I am questioning your intentions because I have read some of the same complaints in the reviews and to date as far as I can see no corrective actions have been taken or measures put it place to change this behavior.
