Buyer beware. They may have a deal with the police department. As soon as we walked out with our straws in our drinks we were pulled over and ticketed. There is an inconspicuous sign that offers a warning at the drive thru. We didn't notice one inside and the staff didn't bother to tell us. I asked the cop (who was pleasant enough possibly because he knew the stop was bs) how does the city have a drive thru daiquiri place and PASSENGERS get ticketed for having their drinks. He said the law is different in Slidell. The gag is, their drinks are in plain white styrofoam cups. No logo or anything, so we could have argued that point. But, I was with my black son and his black male friend. So we just cooperated and took the bogus ticket. The drinks were good and cheap though....
Read moreCame here mostly for the novelty of a daiquiri drive through. Both flavors we tried were pretty good. Not very strong, though. A medium is maybe enough to get a very light buzz.
Would be nice if the menu was more descriptive about the flavors. I didn't really want to pester them with questions about what each one tasted like, so I ordered the King Cake. It mostly tasted like cream, vanilla, and cinnamon, but there was also a hint of coffee that I enjoyed. The Mardi Gras was decent, too. Mostly citrusy and fruity flavors.
Would come back again, but might go inside next time so I can take my time looking at the...

They will mix anything to your liking (if they have it of course). Plus, their menu of daiquiris is awesome! My fave is Tropical Treat + Coconut!! :) I wrote this 2+ years ago.
