We have ordered from here on 3 different occasions and the first time which was many months ago they were very rude when I placed my order for delivery. My food got to me a hour and a half late. I had to place several phone calls before my food finally arrived. I did get my food but which was shrimp scampi that was cold and my bread was rock hard. The manager did give me my food for free which I had to turn around and place an order with another pizza place. We figured they just had made a mistake so we didn't really take it to serious. So as months have went by we attempted to try again ordered for delivery my food never showed up. We then waited months again tried again for the third time when we placed the call to order for delivery whomever answered the phone was very rude, we had to hang up the phone collect our thoughts and return the call to proceed ordering. My fiancé and myself ordered for the both of us, I ordered a chicken Blt sandwich I asked for no lettuce and no mayo, my fiancé ordered an Italian club without onions and oregano with extra vinegar and mayo. We got our food delivered fairly quick, my fiances sub was pretty much correct except she didn't have mayo which was no biggy, my food on the other hand was completely wrong I called and was very polite the female who answered the phone sat down the phone making very rude comments as she picked up the phone I asked for a manager and explained what the issue was he was also very rude and stated he could give me a credit for my next order but I had to have dinner tonight so I asked for my food to be delivered then it was stated to me that they wanted the original order back which wasn't a problem they could gladly take it back. Approximately 20 minutes my food arrived I proceeded to hand the driver the original order and he snatched it out of my hand didn't apologize for the inconvience or anything. Worse service ever I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I will be contacting someone over top of this place to put the icing on the cake EVERYTHING down to the phone calls and the delivery was recorded for proof seeing as we have had many run in's with this place!!! We will never be a returned customer and will recommend no one else be a customer several people have had a lot of problems with...

As I stepped into this unsuspecting pizza shop in the heart of our dear city, a gust of warm air hit me, carrying with it the promise of home-baked crust and bubbling mozzarella. A sweet, yeasty aroma wafted through the door, reminiscent of a New York City subway car at rush hour - if the subway car was baking fresh bread and the passengers were made of tomatoes and garlic.

The walls of the shop were adorned, not with the usual kitschy Italian trinkets or motivational quotes written in tomato sauce, but with images of the NYC skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and a picture of a rat carrying a slice of pizza that I'm pretty sure was bigger than him. A clear homage, or perhaps a humorous jab, at the pizza shop's roots.

Ordering a slice, I was presented with a piece of pizza so large it could have been used as a makeshift umbrella. The toppings were generously spread, with pepperoni pieces that were almost as numerous as the potholes on 5th Avenue.

The first bite was a revelation - a riot of flavors that was as chaotic and bustling as Times Square on New Year's Eve. The sauce was tangy and bold, the cheese like a comforting blanket of creamy goodness, and the crust had that perfect blend of chewy and crispy that made me long for the sounds of honking taxis and impatient pedestrians.

The ambiance of the place was as busy and vibrant as the streets of Manhattan, with the staff bustling around like yellow cabs weaving their way around the city. They were as warm and welcoming as a NYC hot dog vendor, with the same no-nonsense efficiency.

But let's not forget the pièce de résistance - the box. Yes, the pizza box that featured a caricature of King Kong holding a slice of pizza atop the Empire State Building - because nothing screams 'New York' quite like a giant ape enjoying a slice of pizza.

In conclusion, if you've ever found yourself yearning for the Big Apple while walking through our city, this pizza shop is definitely worth a visit. It's as close to a New York experience as you can get, without having to worry about finding a parking spot or paying Manhattan...

Twice we ordered delivery from Angelos and both times have been terrible experiences. Both had been way late, after already given an estimation of an hour wait. The first time they were 40 minutes late. Tonight we were given an hour's delivery time, then after waiting 30 minutes, we called to see what was happening. Delivery driver had not even left yet. And the employee who answered the phone couldn't even bother to apologize & customer service us on the phone. Just immediately wanted to pawn us off on a manager after faking the dullest suprise shock that we hadn't received our order. Which was a hefty cost of food, over $50 worth.

After calling it was another half hour before the driver arrived. We waited 2 hours for this order. And to absolute no surprise the pizza was barely lukewarm. We had to reheat it in the oven, ruining the purpose of ordering out. The pizza was then dry, due to needing to be reheated, the half sausage topping was tough and hardly edible. We ordered a caesar salad which cost $8 but ended up being just mixed greens and the smallest handful of croutons and a packet of dressing. Caesar is supposed to have romaine lettuce... no idea how they messed up a simple caesar salad. The chicken parm had used frozen breaded chicken, it wasn't fresh. Only some of the spaghetti was eaten, the chicken was mostly left uneaten it was that bad. Wasn't worth anywhere near the $16 charged. Garlic bread was included and was a oily, soft, mess. Had it been toasted it would have been much improved.

The only good item was the alfredo chicken penne pasta. But it was too light on the broccoli, could have easily used a second handful.

It's sad Angelos are the only local pizza delivery place. The in laws were visiting from out of state just for the one night and prefered delivery so we had more time together. Next time I'll pass on delivery and their subpar customer service and just go carryout somewhere else myself. The wait, cost, and lukewarm food wasn't worth it. I gave Angelos a chance to redeem themselves but this time it went worse...

The food was not prepared as ordered. My wife is a vegetarian and the special for Friday was a 1 topping large pizza so I ordered half mushroom half cheese. They instead gave me half pepperoni and half pepperoni and mushrooms. Wife ended up having to go to papa John’s to get a pizza instead. The fried mushrooms were ok. Tons of batter on them. My gyro platter was very disappointing. No sauce. Meat really dry. And fries cold and soggy. Yes it was very busy but if you’re going to take so long to fulfill the order at least complete it right. Prob won’t order from here again.

My meatball sub was a little dry but good, Lots of meatballs. Second visit I asked for extra sauce and it was perfect. My wife’s Italian sub was also good but if you want Mayo on it you better ask for it. They don’t charge extra but you have to be specific. It’s mostly a take out restaurant with limited seating. And be aware of your surroundings because of a large homeless tent city in the woods behind the mall. The panhandle throughout the parking lot. I feel bad for the people but you have to watch out for safety when visiting that entire area.
