👎👎👎👎Worst experience ever at any Panera I've ever been to in my life. Three clueless girls in the back putting together orders and have no idea what they're doing. You come to the window and charge me for my order and then I sit there for almost 8 minutes without anyone else coming back to the window Then, you come back to the window again and tell me another price and try to charge me for someone else's order?? Are you stupid or just dumb?!
Then once you actually hand me the bag of food, I ask, "ok where are the drinks?" .. I ordered 2 lemonades... And you look at me like you never did this job a day in your life. Not your fault though..I always blame the manager and the person who thought they would make a good manager. Customer service in food and beverage is at an all time LOW. You're located in an area with people who have money..upper middle class.. HIRE PEOPLE THAT REFLECT THAT SAME ENERGY!!!!!!!!!!!! Moving from the south county Commons to up the street was smart. Now make another smart move and TRAIN YOUR UNEDUCATED EMPLOYEES!!!!
To make matters worse, I had a passenger in the car that was severely sick and the staff were moving like molasses. I asked three times if they could hurry up and please hand us a drink because my passenger was sick and needed a beverage. No effort at all was made to move faster.
Never going here again. Legit 1st and last visit to your Smithfield location EVER!!!!

The design is as good as other panera restaurants, however the layout is nothing impressive. Design 3/5
The tables were not promptly cleaned after the customer left, resulting in our party having to searching for a clean table. Cleanness 3/5
The employee taking our order seemed unknowledgeble and were not friendly borderlane rude, we had to help her fill the custom orders, because she didn't know how, and to make it worse, her badge indicated that she's a trainer, well with such a trainer no wonder they can't fill an order! They messed up 3 out of 6, and according to Panera's policy if they mess up you get a free treat, and when I went to get it, they started questioning me, which is very unusual for Panera, eventually the manager had to come and deal with it, which again, shows how undertrained and unknowledgeble the employees are. Service 1/5
The green goddess dressing did not taste anywhere close to the usual green goddess dressing you would get somewhere else, it was very watery and tasted like water too. The papaya green tea was the same, it tastes just like water. The food was very disappointing! Food 1/5
This restaurant needs to step up it's game, to be at par with the other Panera...

My first experience was the drive thru. My partner ordered his food first and staff member did not ask if there was anything else to be ordered. Immediately instructed us to keep driving. Had to correct her and she took my order. I ordered bread bowl with chicken noodle soup and they did not cut a hole out of the bread. They just gave me a loaf that I needed to dig a hole out of with my fingers.
My second experience was dining in. Our cashier was Nazaree and she was incredibly rude. She was generally unfriendly and when my partner and I ordered our soups, she did not ask what sides we wanted. I had to be the one to ask her if we had the option to choose a side. If I didn't ask, what would we have even gotten? I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade from the frozen drinks menu, and she keyed it in incorrectly and wound up giving me a fountain cup. I asked "Am I supposed to get the frozen lemonade myself?" and she immediately got defensive saying I ordered regular lemonade. The menu says "Strawberry Lemonade". She made it seem like too much of a bother to fix it so I took the cup and left.
Dining room was filthy, had one staff member sweeping at the slowest rate possible. Maybe have Nazaree wipe down the tables instead of working the front because her people skills are...
