So after seeing Mr. ChimeTime review a Haitian restaurant in Stone Mountain,I decided to try Haitian food for the first time today. Now I lived in South Florida for several years and never tried Haitian food because I assumed that it was all pork. Anyway, I did some research and decided to give this restaurant a try. I made my husband drive approximately 24 minutes to retrieve the order. Tell me why the fried turkey order was 98% fat and we were charged a total of $23 and some change for fried turkey fat and rice and plantains. The meat was so fatty that I was applaud they had the audacity to add it to my plate, especially after he requested for the meat to be fried extra crispy. Like, how do you place a whole bunch of fatty meat on a customer and charge them? How dare you? I tried to call and request a refund, but it looks like I have to call my bank because I’m not going for it!!! Although the black rice was very tasty. The turkey seem like it would’ve tasted great also, if it was actual meat. I also tried to fish patties, and I didn’t care for them a very pungent taste and oily. The patties were also very small for the price point of two dollars apiece. Overall, I’m very upset that they played in my face and put fat meat on my plate. Also upset because they seem like they have potential to be a decent place if they respected their customers. See photos attached

Let me start by saying... How have I missed this?! I have been craving authentic Haitian cuisine and found this place 2 miles away. It's a small spot with amazing food. I walked in to place a to go order the employee was helpful and courteous. I ordered the legume with rice, bean soup and fried plantain... And Tasso Goat with collard greens, rice and bean soup. Plus I bought a jar of their homemade pickliz. Everything was delicious and authentic. Goat was tender, beef in legume was flavorful & tender and the pickliz was so good, I put it on everything. My favorite was to eat the plantain is to top it with pickliz. I definitely will be here like 2+ times a week. If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Haitian cuisine, this is the spot.

I am used to Haitian food, but this was definitely not it. I bought two dishes: a grio and a red snapper. The grio and the plantain was very good but the white that came with it was hard and difficult to chew. The red bean puree was sour to the extem and tasted like overnight food. The second dish was a red snapper. The fish was not perfect, but wasn't the best either. The fish should have come with black rice (diri djondjon) but instead the guy gave me vegetables rice. Let's not talk about te pikliz. This was a complete failure. This was so disappointing... If there was Zero or negative notes, that's what I would give them. The picture below is what the guy put in my plate for Black rice😭😭😭😭😭. Stay away from that place.

This is about the fourth time that I have purchased food from this restaurant. I’ve never had a bad experience in the past, but yesterdayā€˜s purchase truly upset me. Traffic was already bad and it took me 45 minutes to get there. I ordered over the phone. I wanted to do chicken and black rice with greot. when I picked up the food, the lady showed me one platter, which was the chicken so I automatically assume that the pork was on the bottom so I never asked to see it. The prices were extremely higher than usual. I paid $44 for two just to find out halfway home that my greot was not there. She made me two chicken. I didn’t bother to make a big issue about it so I kept the chicken. The platters were packed, of course very filling where I had so much leftovers for today. This afternoon I warmed up my food while eating the rice. A super large fingernail was in my food! I immediately begin throwing up! I would have taken a picture, but every time I looked at it I began to vomit. I just moved the trashcan to the counter and slid everything in!! That was the most disgusting thing that has ever happened to me, especially at this restaurant. I will no longer be...

While visiting in a nearby area I was prompted to visit C'EST Si Bon Pastry & Restaurant. As I reviewed the menu and made my decision of choice for a pickup order. I made the pickup and to my surprise the food was terrible and unfit , spoiled. So I made return phone call to discuss with management my issue and to my surprise was discriminated with derogatory statement of "That is why he did not like serving people of Haitian descent " and refused to refund my purchase or rectify my complaint. Stating that he never had any other complaints from others. I am a paying customer and am not concerned what others may or may not have had as complaints. In a customer's standpoint the customer as i understand it is always right and does not deserve a tongue lashing from the management. I don't know about other customers reviews nor does it matter as we all know customer review can be self made and falsified to grow a business. Well this review is straightforward. I have no personal gain in bashing your business but I do hope others will read and find that this establishment does not have the customer's interest in mind or at heart as well no...
