Captain D's — Restaurant in Smyrna

Update... They are not applying my rewards! I go often because the fish is delicious. But I am still at 19 points after going weekly, sometimes twice a week. Today I was told I can't use Google pay🤦🏾‍♀️I don't have Google pay ‼️ I had to tell them I was earning points toward my order. Then I showed them my QR code again and read it out loud to the cashier.. They still didn't understand 🤦🏾‍♀️. Then the cashier asked for my phone number. Then asked if I wanted to redeem free hush puppies. NO, I don't like how this location cooks their hush puppies. I am trying to earn points for a free meal. After I told the cashier NO for the 6 free hush puppies she must have deleted and never applied new points for this order. Just like the last 5 times of placing $20 orders I am still at 19 points ‼️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ I am not going to return for awhile. Food is fresh and delicious but service sucks and they are not giving me my points. I don't know what they are doing with my points but no one is training the cashier's how to apply. I'm done with them.

Hush puppies are always over cooked and have slight burnt taste. Always missing something from my orders. Might be utensils, hush puppies, slaw instead of fries etc etc. but the fish is awesome. And I like that big batter bits are...

Well, First of all, the food was pretty good. The service was terrible. The cashier literally was rude, while texting on her phone, asking me and my boyfriend what we wanted to eat. If you ask me, I felt a little bit of racial tension. They were not friendly, did not welcome us, not did we even get a smile from anyone in there. I still have no clue how we still ate there, knowing how unfriendly and rude the service was. Me and my boyfriend are white, and the majority of the employees are African American women. When an African American couple came in and ordered before us, they were alot more friendly to them. We get to the counter, and their friendliness dissappears. White people aren't the only ones racist here people. If your white, you probably won't get treated the best when going into this captain ds. It's sad, because the food was actually good. I do not recommend this place, because the employees are straight rude, and don't care about their customers. This captain ds was my first job, and boy has it went downhill with the people. The restaurant looked nice on the inside, but the employees made the store look bad. If your African American, you will be treated better...

This has got to be the worse place Captains D's has anywhere. We went by to get Salmon for me and Clam strips for her. They were out of Broccoli, clam strips, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and to top it off extremely short handed. We ordered anyway and our total wait time was over an hour to get food, a good part of it was cold, and over $20.00 for 2 people. Speaking of cold, the thermostat was set on 58 degrees and several in the dining room where freezing. I asked them to please turn it up to 2 different people and it was never done. We got our food in plastic containers, but they will not fit in the small holes in the trash cans, so we could throw them away. Absolutely ridiculous. I personally saw at least 8 cars in the drive thru pull off and leave. This is not the 1st time this has happened at this location, and it seems the owner, just doesn't care. My recommendation is to sell this place to someone who cares about customers, because the owner/staff sure doesn't seem to. Got a 1 star because i can't give it a...
