We used to go to this branch before it got remodeled and it was exceptionally fast, courteous, friendly, and up to their standards. After reopening, we went there yesterday, Thursday, May 19, 2022, and we were excited that it was reopened after the remodeling, however, the experience was nothing to chick fil a standards, it was more of other type of fast food vibes that I will not mention here. We initially went through the drive through, but now that it has two lanes, the left lane blocks anyone that wants to eat inside and leave afterwards, so if there are cars in line on the left lane, you would need to wait until the line goes down just to get out of the parking lot. We noticed this and noticed that it was taken longer than usual to get through the drive thru so we decided to park and dine in. Immediately coming in, we noticed the lighting inside was extremely bright, the music was not your typical inspirational vibe, it was more of a elegant restaurant type of music. The staff was moving extremely slow paced with no sense of urgency to serve the public. The energy level and vibe was very low and extremely unexpected, given the way Chick Fil A has their standards. The greeting by the cashier was low and no sense of wanting to provide the up most customer service that they are known for. After we sat down, there were several parties waiting for their food for several minutes, we received ours in 15min, which is not bad, comparing to others, but before the remodeling, it would be in 5min tops. I understand there are several employees who are new, however, even if you’re new, it seems like the training is not effective and needs to be revamped as well. The food was great and up to their standards, but we were very disappointed with the service and the way the drive through has been remodeled to where it is not organized at all. I know we are living in a time where customer service standards have gone down to where it almost doesn’t exist anymore, but Chick Fil A always kept their quality on top. To walk into this establishment after their remodeling and see and feel the vibe of slowness and chill and laid back casual type of energy, was way off of what this franchise is all about. If this is the new way Chick Fil A is operating, then I guess they have decided to lower...
Read moreEDIT: I've tried this chick-fil-a a few more times in the past few months (before and after the remodeling), and I'll give it a solid 4/5 now. I still get a few sandwiches that are weirdly small (only about 60% the size of the bun in some cases), but most of the time I now have really great sandwiches, enough to go back several times a week.
OLD review, see above for new edit: I rate this Chick-fila-A a 3 out of 5 when compared against other food establishments, but compared to other Chick-fil-As I would have given it a 1 star on average, and a 2 on the best days. The sandwiches usually come out lukewarm, and the cuts are substantially smaller than any other Chick-fil-A I've ever visited (see the attached photo comparison of the paper thin "chicken fillet" compared to a normal sized chicken nugget). I asked the employees if the paper thin flilet was the expected quality and they said yes, but seemingly in a trained way, so I expect this is commonplace there. The manager "made it right" by bringing out another sandwich in its place, but even that sandwich was sub-par in size on comparison of other Chick-fil-As, but at least it was hot. I assume from this that the fillets are cut on-site. While I lived in Bowling Green I ate at Chick-fil-A about 6 times a week (sometimes for lunch and then for dinner), however I generally am disheartened when my wife suggests the the Smyrna Chick-fil-A. On a good note, their nuggets are great as would be expected, and my wife loves their salads. To summarize, it'd be beneficial for the managers of this Chick-fil-A to visit other Chick-fil-A establishments and make an...
Read moreWhen I attempted to go to this Chick-fil-a, the drive-through was full and the parking lot was confusing. I did not know what to do nor where to go, so I mostly accidentally pulled into the exit. Still confused and unsure of what to do, I tried to back into a parking spot because I realized I was going the wrong direction. Before I could finish parking, a Chick-fil-a employee who was directing traffic came up to my car. I thought he was going to help me and tell me what to do. As soon as a rolled down my window, the employee began to lecture me on how I should not have come in the exit, if I had hit another car it would have been my fault (there were no other cars driving around the parking lot), and how he didn't want to ever see me do that again, all in a very harsh tone. I apologised and kept trying to ask him questions, but he cut me off every time and did not help me or answer my questions. When he walked away, I wanted to finish parking and sit there a minute to either order online or make another decision of what to do. After I closed my window, he started yelling at me through the window and waiving his arms to try to tell me how to park. Then, I left the parking lot and got in the left turn lane to wait to get into the drive through. This man followed me out to the road continuing to wave his arms and talk to me, though I couldn't understand him and he looked angry. He basically treated me like I was a brand new driver who didn't know what she was doing. I was hurt, offended, and unable to figure out what to do. Therefore, I decided to just eat at...
