Quite possibly the best interaction and service I’ve ever experienced from a server at any restaurant, ever. JENNIFER was absolutely amazing, took care of us and ensured our food and beverages were top quality, creme de la crème all the way. I wish I could give her 6 stars, but that would be satanic. So it’s the 5 allowable stars for now. Wish it was 10. After experiencing what is THE JENNIFER EFFECT, I feel like I can do anything. I could build a 3 story Tuscan lavish home with my bare hands. I could learn to whisper to animals and I’d convince them to help me build said Tuscan home. Except for raccoons they’d just make a mess of everything. I would then go to Mexico for an Ayahuasca trip, where I would enter a realm where dragons fly the earth and I would slay the largest, most powerful behemoth of a dragon and bring JENNIFER one of its scales to use as a guitar pick, on one of the guitars taken from the very walls of this Rock n Roll Sushi on Sam Ridley in Smyrna, Tennessee. Thanks Rock and Roll Sushi, I love Rock n Roll Sushi because of Jennifer. Thank you. You have...

We enjoyed, but didn’t love, our time at Rock N Roll Sushi. The server we had was super nice and helpful, the atmosphere and theme is rock-filled fun (if a bit loud for a conversation), and the American twist sushi is pretty good. We had four rolls: a veggie roll ($7) and a super crunch roll ($10), and two special rolls, British Invasion ($16) and sweet home Alabama roll ($15). We had fried elements in two of our rolls, either a fried in the middle (British Invasion) or the whole thing (Sweet Home). Our favorite was the Sweet Home. We also had the fried wontons that we got for free from a coupon we had at Smyrna’s Depot Days neighborhood event. It is good fried food, especially the lighter Japanese tempura batter. It’s good fried American twists on sushi; but it is American twist sushi and not genuine sushi. If you’re looking for something more authentic, which is what we like out of sushi, this isn’t it. But the twist can be worth the time if you’re looking for a fun, if a bit...

Food is always excellent! Service has really gone down over time. The coke flavor on their machine has been broke for at least a month a more and they don't fix it. And they won't tell you when you order it, and don't really seem to care that they knowingly are going to serve you not correctly mixed coke. Servers are very awkward. Not just one either we have had multiple. Having to ask for every little thing for the table is annoying. When I order sushi, bring me a soy sauce cup. When you bring a plate to the table just set it down instead of awkwardly trying to hand it to anyone at the table. Again, food is good. Service needs some serious work. Maybe they are newer servers but they seem uncomfortable approaching the table to take orders or even say...

Loved the ambiance, it'd be great with a live band maybe some day. Food is delicious but majority of the rolls are shrimp tempura... which actually is NOT shrimp tempura whatsoever. Legit looked like freezer section style breaded shrimp in the rolls. We were so confused. That being said, highly recommend the Legends roll, a soft shell crab type. Shrimp fried rice came doused in teriyaki sauce, different but yummy. Service was timely. Might hit the bar next time, looked really cool. Hope to see this place get really popular quickly!

I got the Spicy Tonkotsu and while it wasn’t very spicy, to be fair, there was an option to add extra spice. It is very mild with some spice though. I also got a Mango Coconut dessert which was amazing and fresh mmmm 😋 Logan was an excellent server and made sure our needs were met. The atmosphere is just as the name as the place describes, with Rock N Roll music playing in the background with some variety. Very nice song selections. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable and it was one of the best ramen dish/experience I’ve had!
