On 04/28 1 ordered a "yum yum roll" '... I got down to my last two pieces of the roll. I noticed a piece of hair sticking out from the middle of my sushi roll. I immediately informed them of the situation. I assumed that they would at least correct their mistakes by getting me two fresh pieces of the yum yum roll that i had not completed. Minutes goes by, a waitress started to clean my table and i asked him about the yum yum roll i had not completed and asked about a having two pieces of the yum yum roll come out fresh. The waitress informed me that it's nothing he could do and i would have to go and complain to the manager at the register. Which didn't make sense because if I as the customer found a piece of hair in my sushi and I'm only asking for two fresh pieces of the ones i did not finish, not even the whole roll.... The guy at the register which is to believed to be the manager gave me such a hard time as if he did not want to own up the restaurants mistake. He kept saying things as if it goes against their policy to make a fresh one because they look through their food and make sure to have nets on their heads. I dine at this restaurant a lot so to have this experience is very disappointing. I can honestly say that because of this experience that i had this go around at this restaurant made this the LAST time I eat here. It's clear to see that they do not value their customers when it comes to finding hair in the food they make. Eventually I got them to give me two pieces of the yum yum roll I had not finished. I asked for fresh ones, not too sure if they gave me back the ones with the hair on it or two fresh one's. But they seemed kind of irritated with me for calling them out so I wouldn't put it past them it they didn't make me fresh ones... but instead gave me the ones I had with hair in it. Very rude when it came down to solving the situation. This place definitely needs to be checked inside and out. The atmosphere is...
Read moreI’m so sad to not rate them higher. We’ve had good experiences in the past or I would’ve rated lower but this time was just so bad. I don’t complain often and very rarely write bad reviews but I had to here, unfortunately. I ordered two lunch specials- 4 spicy tuna rolls. Got the rolls home and they looked bad and tasted worse- they were the worst tasting sushi rolls I’ve had. We couldn’t eat them. We’ve had them there before and liked them so we knew this wasn’t how they were normally. I called to give them the chance to make it right and she said she’d give my money back plus replace my lunch (my stepdaughter ate something at home instead and didn’t want anything else from them), I thought that was fair. When I got back there though, the guy simply handed me my food, didn’t say a word- did not apologize, and simply walked away- I had to flag the girl down to ask about giving my $$ back.. she pointed to the replacement food (which only replaced one meal) as If that should be enough. I told her it’s not about the $$ as much as what’s right and fair. Finally, she gave me the $$ back for my stepdaughters. It was just bad customer service, a bad experience, and has made me not think about wanting their food since. This happened a few weeks ago. So sadly, we won’t be back for a long time I...
Read moreSo just paid $30 for a disgusting and inedible lunch. Got delivered to work and there was no soy sauce, napkins or even chopsticks. That should have given it away.
I ordered a dinner size portion of vegetable tempura and received 5 piece of broccoli, a piece of sweet potato, 1 of onion and 2 zucchini. That’s less than half the lunch portion I have received from other local Japanese restaurants.
The broccoli was INEDIBLE. I have never had tempura like this. It was OLD and tasted like it had been microwaved a few times. So great, out of the little I actually got, more than half was now inedible.
The avocado roll was not inside out as I had requested. But that wasn’t the big deal - the big deal was the brown avocado and dirty dish water taste. Oh, and all the pieces were cut to different sizes which means that someone who is inexperienced was cutting it. Usually a sushi chef is a highly experienced senior chef. Finally, the wasabi and ginger were the fake kind, the ones that are almost neon green and pink.
Needless to say this won’t be a return for me and I hope you will be spared from a super frustrating and disgusting experience. PROCEED AT...
