Denny's — Restaurant in Soledad

I have had mixed experiences here, I come often because I am always hungry and I tend to come late at night because it's the only place open. Sometimes it's good sometimes it could be better. Milkshakes are always 100% amazing, but service could be better. Maybe they are training new staff which I understand. But tonight I didn't like the service, the server never brought me my panookie even though I asked for it to come out at the same time as all the other food, not as dessert. All the other food was done and we were full and we asked for the panookie not to be made cause it's basically too late and they took it off but never brought the to go box or cup we asked for. Also a chicken addiction bowl already has mushroom and they charged for mushrooms, idk I just didn't have a good time. The server honestly had plenty of time to take us what we asked for too, myself working as a server at a Dennys. Idk maybe...

Who doesn't like Denny's? Whether it's the Lumberjack Slam, Nachos, or a delicious chocolate shake, you can always count on Denny's for good food at great prices. This location is only a few years old and is conveniently located right off the highway and next to a gas station and a Smoke shop. Employees are nice, fast service, good food, and clean bathrooms. Whether you eat at the diner or you order take out, the service and the food are both good Overall, a good place to eat. No outdoor seating, lots of booths. This is the only 24 hr restaurant in town - travel another 30 miles and you will find a couple more Denny's restaurants and a few drive thru burger joints. Glad they opened here!! This dennys is HORRIBLE!!! Managers sit on their behind, while letting only one waiter is serving the whole place alone. Food is never consistent nor does it have taste. The attitude in this establishment is disgusting and miracle this place continues to get service. Only individual get great service if you’re in law enforcement but even they complain about the same issue but afraid to share their experience. This is the only place for them to come to very late night for those night shift law enforcement. They do not welcome any customer. The wait to get a table(it’s not even busy) is extremely long, so are to go orders (double check your bag) and the food always come out cold and late and don’t even bother ordering appetizers since it’ll arrive with your entrée.
