Food is good. Service is not good.
I placed an order online yesterday for chicken, pizza, and salad. I arrived at the designated pickup time and they had not yet started on my order. After some confusion, the manager was summoned by one of the six workers and diagnosed the problem as a recurring issue with their online ordering equipment not printing out an order that had been received. Since this was a recurring problem, you would think they would have corrected it, but okay, technology can be tricky.
The manager, who always seems to be yelling at the workers, told me it would be 15 minutes. No apology, just repeated that it would take 15 minutes to prepare my order. I said okay, I will wait in my car and come back in 15 minutes.
I came back in 15 minutes later and was told my order was not ready. No estimate of when it would be ready and still no apology. The young man behind the counter seemed incapable of making eye contact with me. This was at 4:15 pm on a Friday. They were not busy.
Another 10 minutes later, I inquired if my order was close to being ready. The young man grunted affirmatively, again without any eye contact or apology for the delay.
After another 5 minutes (now 30 minutes past the original estimate from the online ordering system and 15 minutes past the 15 minute estimate from the manager), my order was finally ready. Still no apology for the delay.
I asked if there had been some delay in preparing the food that the manager had not anticipated. The young man again explained about the delay with the ticket printing out. When I clarified that was not the delay I was asking about, he offered no explanation.
I asked to speak to the manager again. I had not seen her since she gave me the 15 minute estimate, now 35 minutes ago. She seemed confused and again talked about the problem with the order not printing out. I again explained I understood that and that I was asking why her estimate of 15 minutes to prepare my order was so far off. At this point, she claimed she never told me it would be 15 minutes and that she didn't remember talking to me (it was a long time ago).
As I was walking out the door, she did finally apologize, while blaming her "new staff". I pointed out that it wasn't any of her new staff that had given me the 15 minute estimate and then disappeared. She continued to blame the staff and noted they have a lot of turnover (they do). I asked her why she thinks they might have so much turnover and she said she had no...
Read moreOn Sunday 7/29/18 I ordered a delivery of deluxe pizza and antipasto salad (large). I realized that I had ordered at 9:44 pm and was surprised that they had accepted my order and was willing to deliver it. My order came about 30-40 min later and I tipped the delivery guy Very graciously because of the late circumstances and thanked him for delivering it. When I opened my antipasto salad I was astonished to find lettuce, cheese, and a whole bunch of dried out pepperoni on top. ( I have a picture of it) This is not a antipasto salad. I called immediately and asked to speak with the manager that was there and this was now around 10:15pm (around that time) he had instructed me that a new employee had made it and that was not correct. He did in fact refund me my money on the salad. Coming from the food industry as a executive chef to a large location downtown Cleveland I found that the manner in which my food was presented to me was unacceptable. It shouldn’t matter if I’m your first order of the day or your last. Each order should go out with the same standard and quality that is expected. Non the less no “new hire” should be left on their own ( even though I have serious doubts that there even was a new hire and the guy that I spoke with over the phone was the one that actually prepared my salad). I was very disappointed with ordering from this establishment.. Antonios Pizza Solon Ohio. And very well might not order from that...
Read moreI ordered pizza and wings. I took a bite of the pizza and was disappointed my order came 1hr afterwards, the wings was so small and hard. I called believing that who I was speaking with was the manager. After telling him about my complaint he told me the driver man would be on his way back to my home to pick up the order and refund me my money. After waiting for over 40 minutes I decided to call to find out how much longer would this take come to find out the person I spoke with pretended to be a manager. My bill came to $37.34 I paid $40 in cash. I was told by Ike Harris that corporate policy was if you paid by cash you can't get your money back. Where is that on my receipt and why wasn't that something they disclose to me or custermers when making there orders. This has been such an inconvenience to me. I want my money back, and why do they have employees acting like there manager when you call. I will never order Wings or Pizza from them again.
Update: 8:05pm The delivery man came back and I received my money back and gave them...
