I just encountered the rudest employee of my life. Billy. He said he was the manager. But he lied. I simply asked if the local flavor coupon could no e used in somers point as elk as eht since it’s the same owner. He said yes then no. So I simply just asked to speak with the owner or he could ask him so I didn’t order there and then they say no when I got there with the coupon. He hung up on me lol. Then I called back and said I’m trying to explain and I simply said all I need is a yes or no answer he didn’t know the answer therefore was not helping. Hung up on me again lol called back twice and he let it ring to voicemail the. Another kid answered who told me his name and apologized for how I was treated. Seriously unreal. Then Steve the owner messages me and yes you can use the coupon and he is sorry for Billy and no Billy isn’t the manager. Kid is a punk and should honestly have been fired. I advise you to order anywhere but there. I’m still in shock with how I was just talked too. I ran a restaurant for years and I would never let an employee act that way towards my customers. He lost a lot of money today from me and I will be sure nobody I know orders from there now. Total disgrace! Two...
Read moreI've been going to Primo Hoagies for many years.
I was happy to see there was one now in Somers Point (NJ).
We decided to have Primos tonight so instead of going over to Ocean City we went to the Somers Point location.
We order three different primo size hoagies. One was an original Italian, a Nonna, and their new chicken cheesesteak.
The sandwiches were tasty. What I was very disappointed in was the huge difference in the amount of substance that was inside the roll.
I'm use to not being able to close the roll because there is alway so much meat inside the roll.
These sandwiches were so thin that the roll was able to completely close and you didn't know which side was the side that had been cut open.
I do understand the times we are in but when you are charging over ten dollars a sandwich you can't put five dollars worth of meat in it.
This is the first time this has ever happened to me at Primos so I'm hoping it is the only time and not something that is going to continue.
I will try a few of the other locations that I'm accustomed to going to see if this was sent down from corporate or just a one time thing from...
Read moreThis might be an unfair review, considering I went at night and didn’t see the owner anywhere in sight walking around maskless. However, a friend of mine has told me that she did see this happening, which I definitely don’t agree with. When I went it was around 7:30 at night, and there were a bunch of teenagers working. All very professional with masks on. And I will tell you what, they definitely put more love into their hoagies at the Somers point location. The thing was loaded and perfectly made by a polite young man, especially compared to the EHT location! (Nothing like spending 25% more on a hoagie that’s filled with a sadder capacity than a skimpy Wawa sub). As long as this doesn’t change, This will now be the location that I go to from now on for all of my hoagie needs. Thanks Primo’s Somers Point for a delicious well rounded hoagie. TO THE OWNER: REGARDLESS OF YOUR VIEWS ON THE CURRENT PANDEMIC, PUT A DANG MASK ON, BE PROFESSIONAL. YOU’RE IN THE FOOD SERVICE INDUSTRY,BE...
