This place has the worse pizza hands down. 3 strikes your out! We have been living in Swansea for 38 years and we ordered from here weekly and stopped because it went downhill. We decided to try it again and give it another after about 5 years because excellent pizza was on vacation. Well,,,, we were disappointed again!!! The pizzas we ordered dad hardly any sauce on all 3 of our pizzas and they weren’t enjoyable at all. My mother and I said they were terrible and not to order from them again but my dad decided he was going to give it one more shot because it was his favorite pizza at one time so he thought he’d surprise my mother and I again with pizza from here after we both said we wouldn’t go there anymore. He told us your going to like it this time… he said he told them to add a little more sauce because we had hardly any the last time. well… it came with hardly any again, and it was literally again he worse pizza. I mean how can you screw up pizza unless it’s terrible dough and terrible sauce… So, My father called up to let them know he was disappointed because he asked when ordering these pizza if they could put a little extra sauce because the last time we barely had any, and the male manager he was speaking to gave him a hard time. I could hear my dad saying I’m telling you I asked for more sauce and told them the last time our pizzas had hardly any. I heard my father arguing with him and asked him are you the manager?! And then said what’s your name. Really!!! You’re going to argue with a man that was kindly speaking to you about a bad experience !!!! We never said anything the first time!!! This is uncalled for when a customer calls to let you know there was a problem and you get treated like your the problem. 3 small pizzas cost over $50 and we should get what we ask for especially paying that high of a price. Mind you it was 3 small pizzas, 2 with 2 topping and 1 with 3. Not only was it ridiculously expensive but my peppers, onion and meatball pizza had maybe if I was lucky a 1/2 a meatball. The only pizza that had the right amount of topping was my dads chourico pizza. Today my dad went back because they offered 3 pizzas to make up for the last time and maybe they think this is funny!!!! They added extra extra and extra sauce to the point you can’t even pick up a slice without everything falling off. The crust was cooked but everything else like the few measly pepperonis and peppers were not cooked at all. What a shame this place has become! It used to be good years ago but these last 3 times were more horrible then ever and the only reason my dad went today is because they offered to make up for the last time, and the male manager arguing with my dad when all my dad was doing was telling him how he ordered his pizza and he didn’t get it the way he asked. This is crazy to me! There is obviously a problem at this location after reading the reviews. It’s not rocket science to make a pizza with the right amount of sauce like everyone else does and now you dump a bunch of sauce on it to make matters worse!!!! . This Papa Gino’s will be the next to go out of business due to their horrible attitude and customer service. This was the last time! We will gladly take our business somewhere else. Everything went in the trash because it wasn’t even edible, and who knows what else they did to the pizzas. Read moreI wish I could give “zero” stars. Honestly this place gets worse and worse by then minute. I placed an online order that was already paid for, and the manager not only was arguing with my family member who picked up the order, they DEMANDED payment when it was paid for, but they also did not provide the drink that was included in the combo insisting that it wasn’t included. I then proceeded to call and speak with the manager and he said he was the one that had the interaction with my family member and insisted that they were incorrect. I explained to him if he read the order carefully that there wouldn’t be any misunderstandings which is a common issue at this location. Often times both management and staff do not take the time to read the orders and continue to argue with customers that they are correct. Clearly reading skills aren’t taught at this location since they can’t read an order correctly, and interpret a receipt/online order.
Also corporate must teach their managers to be belligerent and argumentative with customers, since you call or ask an employee a question they get defensive and argumentative.
While he offered to reimburse me for the meal, this doesn’t fix the poor customer service provided at this location. In the manager’s own words “I’ll reimburse you for the meal but it’s not like I can magically give you your soda.” Really?!? Did he have to be SARCASTIC- is that what you teach your employees at Corporate management trainings?!?
The manager also refused to give me the contact number of the district manager stating that he does not have access to that information, and stated that he didn’t know how contact his boss. The manager also made it a point to let me know that he did not have time for my call since he had customers waiting and was understaffed. Since when are customers responsible for understaffing!? The constant mistakes and unprofessional behavior of this location is NOT acceptable but clearly corporate tolerates it and supports it, since it’s an ongoing issue every time I order from this location. I waited inside over 40 minutes and finally, after seeing another gentleman walk up to the counter asking what was taking so long, asked for my money back. As soon as I did I was told by an employee right away that my vermonter was done and just waiting on the other 2 subs. I thanked him and said I couldnt wait any longer. I was refunded by the manager who not only made no effort to apologize but remained silent for the entire process of refunding my order. This is the 2nd time theyve screwed me on time waiting for food and I will not be using this location ever again and warning as many people as I can to avoid it. The manager is useless and doesn't seem to understand how to get his team motivated or moving yet is perfectly ok with their attitudes and having them listen to their earpods...
