Davis Square Pizza — Restaurant in Somerville

Everyone has the favorite pizza right ? So this isn't as much about pizza as it is about the whole dining experience.Yesterday I walked in her with my little princess ( who's 5 ) and her cousin.While I wasn't hungry , the 2 girl's ate there slices like it was the best slices they have ever eaten.The reason for the review is simple ; The staff ! Even though it was 6 p.m.on a Friday night with phone's ringing off the hook , they went out of there way too accommodate us. Sign read ; no public bathrooms. The owner had no problem braking that rule and walked us through the kitchen to the bathroom. My most important part ; I overheard the owner say to his employee ; don't put those slices in for too long .There for those 2 little girl's.I don't want it too be too hot for them.Being a dad ,that meant alot to me.( parents understand) We spent a measly $6.00 on a busy Friday night . The staff and owner made us feel just as important as if we spent $60.00.It's refreshing to see that good old manners and common courtesy are still alive. 5 star's for making sure every customer...

Owner is a bigot who doesn't understand that things can be the fault of the restaurant...or owner. He's pretty much a 10 year old who inherited a business from his parents that he's incapable of running. Check out most of the reviews--dude can barely keep 3 stars. I had an experience with the owner in which his delivery driver called me continuously after my order had been delivered. The subsequent calls occurred much later in the night, hours after my order had been delivered. I blocked the random number, not realizing it was the delivery driver that had showed up earlier. The next time I ordered, the delivery driver tried calling me and obviously it didn't go through because I had blocked the number the night before. I got a call from the restaurant itself, as opposed to the driver, and the owner berated me about not answering. When I figured out was was going on, I let the owner know and he just said "oh." Never received an apology, because he's ignorant and doesn't know how to...

This place has delicious food! The only problem that keeps occurring is the service. Every time I call for delivery, the person who answers the phone has a very rude attitude. For example, I order a chicken caesar salad in which he told me there isn’t any more caesar. So I assumed there wasn’t anymore dressing so I tried telling him to replace it with ranch or blue cheese but instead he responds back saying “there isn’t anymore caesar salads, DONT YOU UNDERSTAND” (with a rude tone). At that point he kepted putting me on hold multiple times for what reason. Then rather than coming back to release me on hold, he hangs up instead. Though this isn’t the first time he hanged on me. He has done it multiple times every time I order my food. Ultimately, I’m completely done with the place because of the horrible customer service I have been experiencing for the last couple of months. Anyone reading this please be cautious when talking to them because they will yell back or say something rude...
