If you are looking for a quick Mexican food stop off you really cannot go wrong with Tenoch. Excellent food, fast and friendly service and a cool, albeit small, dining area are all key features here.
All of their food looks great but I can’t comment much beyond the Tortas (sandwich) because they were so delicious we didn’t get to the rest of the menu. Now, if you’ve looked at my other reviews, you know I’m a sandwich guy. And here is the thing with sandwiches, anyone can make a good one, but it’s hard to make really great ones.
Tenoch finds that perfect balance, including numerous fresh vibrant and unique flavors in each bite, but still manages to keep the flavor manageable. The ingredients taste almost like they’re layered as opposed to mixed and this gives a really nice experience as each bite rolls through each of the stages of taste bud bliss on the way to your stomach.
Seriously this place is delicious, offers a reasonable value for the price and is easily the best Mexican food I’ve had in New England in the last few years! Tenoch comes highly...
Read moreTerrible experience here, these are the most un-authentic tacos I have had. Additionally be aware that the fish for the fish tacos are made prior to opening and the filets are re-heated as orders come in. I politely asked one of the staff members if it were possible to get my fish made-to-order for freshness and bite, she gave me so much attitude and refused to accommodate this simple request. I showed her that the breading was soggy and the fish was more or less dry and flabby. Despite this she said that it was not possible because that's how they do things there. If a fryer is on site and a customer makes a simple request that they would like a made to order taco that should not be refused. Instead of honoring my request she nastily refunded me for the fish taco & then tossed me a holder for my chicken taco. I also got a chicken taco, this was a disappointment chicken chunks were huge and overly saucy. This place is a...
Read moreMy favorite fast casual Mexican food.
I highly recommend the quesadilla. I feel mine with campechano, onions and cilantro, and also get a fish taco. By the way important to note it is not what you expect when you order a quesadilla. It comes out more like a burrito without rice and beans which I love because that's what I usually don't like in a burrito.
You can usually get your food very quickly unless there's a huge line and the price is very reasonable. I have no idea how fast food places like taco Bell survive when you can go to a place like this instead.
They currently have three locations in the Boston area. The only one I don't recommend is in the North end.... As their quality is hit-or-miss.
Honestly you can't go wrong here almost everything I've tried is...
