Just ordered from here for the first time and had the worst experience of my life. I had three items wrong/poorly made. When I came to the store to have it re-made I was met outside by the manager who was defensive from the start. Mind you, Iâm calm and respectful-just wanting my food made right.
Iâm then ushered into the front register where the cashier seems annoyed and is audibly huffing and puffing. The manager then comes back in and asks why I donât like my coffee. I say âRespectfully, it taste like waterâ then both the cashier and the manager start man-splaining to me what a macchiato isâŚat that point I just asked for a refund because I didnât feel comfortable eating from such hostile people. I swear before God himself, I was not disrespectful to these folks but I was met with SO much disrespect. I donât do well with argumentative people and I DONâT do well with un-kind people.

Read moreAwful experience ordered food and took it home. Told the gentleman taking my order very clearly in English that on the steak and cheese please do not put onions and peppers. My order is completed and I arrive home to find the order was incorrectly made. I brought back the item for replacement and the owner picked off the onions and peppers and in less than one min gave it back to me.I explained I can't eat anything that touched onions and he yelled at me and told me "next time tell them that when I ordered" he gave me a classic RBF and walked away. At this time we both decided I would take my money back and depart never to patronize that establishment ever again. Poor poor customers service had a friend who had a similar incident. It seems like if you speak Portuguese your good because it's Brazilian owned and they bend over backwards for them. Also overpriced 2 sandwiches and a muffin was 22 dollars with a tip. Avoid avoid avoid. Awful...

Nice mix of standard and Brazilian influenced dishes (Brazilian cheese bread!), sammies, and salads. Today's post shows their Toro Brioche (toasted brioche, shaved steak, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, garlic aioli, and tomato), a huge sandwich enough for two meals or one hungry meal. Good flavors (not overly spiced). Prices are pretty reasonable for Union Square, especially for the quality. They close by mid / late afternoon typically,...
