To be honest with everybody if I could I would rate this place a ZERO for SERVICE PLUS FOOD due to my experience tonight. Me and my fiance went to go get food from this local restaurant aka McDonald's in Clarks Summit, Pa. we pulled up to the drive thru speaker and was trying to order our food, speaking clearly and loudly. When the manager on duty at this time responded with "I'm having a really rough time hearing you guys" while the speaker sounded like a "walkie talkie," as if she was literally rubbing up against the mic. The women then had us repeat our order three different times due to "not being able to hear us" and each time we repeated it, the sound became louder and louder. After repetitively telling her LOUDLY AND CLEARLY, we pulled up to the second window and respectfully said "just letting you know your speaker back there sounds horrible and scratchy we couldn't hear you" and her response was "oh well I mean I'll change my mic out but you're the first people to say something about it all day but heres your card just waiting on fries" as she shut the window. We honestly could care less to deal with her attitude at midnight but as we drove to the third window, we noticed two more cars pull up behind us after already having their order taken and paid for. After 8-10 minutes of waiting for our food, at the second window we noticed people behind us receiving their drinks and food and leaving so we wondered why, when the woman finally came to the third window we asked her if she was a manager and she exclaimed "yes i am" while shutting the window in our faces and proceeded to walk away. Now we literally live five minutes down the road mind you!! OUR FOOD IS AS COLD AS A ROCK AND ON TOP OF IT, TASTES REALLY OLD?!!!??? THIS IS DISGUSTING 🤮 I WILL NEVER EAT AT MCDONALD'S AGAIN NOR WILL I EAT WHAT I BOUGHT TONIGHT!! CALLING CORPORATE OF MCDONALD'S SOUNDS PATHETIC AT THIS POINT!!! SO MCDONALDS, THIS IS HOW YOU ALLOW YOUR EMPLOYEES TO TREAT YOUR...
Read moreMy teenaged children work here, and the management staff is wonderful- Laura, in particular. There have been a few times I had gone thru the drive thru, and was missing items from my order. Be it hash browns, straws, and once a 6pc chicken nugget. The management was always kind, apologetic, and willing to make it right. My two children- Marco and Elena learned the value of hard work, and gained vital life skills that will serve them for years to come while working at this establishment. Recently, this establishment suffered the loss of a Management Team member. She was a very kind, pretty lady- who always treated the teenaged kids very well. The way this team of employees came together after this sudden loss was incredible- all while grieving. The owners of this establishment, The Mueller family, are wonderful and kind folks who care very deeply for the community which they serve. I am proud to be a part of a community where everyone looks after one another. For having teenagers who work here, I really don't eat much from McDonald's, but the shakes (my favorite) are better here than they are at other local McDonald's! I don't know what it is, but they just taste so much better. Also, the shake machine is never "down", or "out of service". I know McDonald's is never a far trip for many of us, but even if this particular location was not the closest- I would still choose this one. Service is superior here, and that is not an opinion- but...
Read moreThe workers are so rude. The one time I ordered a chicken sandwich and asked if there was any sauce on it because I didn't want any. The girl said no, so I was surprised when I got it and there was some weird sauce on it. I took it back in and they gave me a hard time saying that I was wrong and that If I wanted a new one I would have to wait 10 more minutes. Well, I left them my messed up sandwich and my money that I already paid and i just left.
Then, another time I was on a keto diet so I ordered a burger without the bun and the guy was laughing and asked me why I would want that. Didn't know I now had to explain why I order what I order.
Then, tonight I went through the drive through and told the girl I would need a minute, she told me to take my time. About 20 seconds or so later she asked me again what I wanted, I told her I still need a second and she let out a loud annoying huffing and puffing sound. I got annoyed so I just ordered a coffee. She asked if that was all. I said yes. Then she did that annoying sound again and said "wowwww". As If I sat there for 10 mins just to order a drink. The entire interaction was probably less then a minute. The amount of rudeness just gets worse everytime..
Consider having your employees take a customer service class or something. They clearly do not know how to interact...
