Today a group of my 5 coworkers and I ordered our drinks on the app. Usually when I or someone else goes to pick them up, they get put into the regular cardboard carriers that hold 4 drinks and are sturdy. Well today, the 6 drinks were put in 3 carriers that only held 2 drinks each. I asked the baristas if they had carriers that held 4 drinks. Two replied that they only had the carriers that held 2 drinks today. Now, if you ever were given a carrier that only holds 2 drinks you would know how useless that are. There is no support what so ever to keep your drinks from falling over. In my opinion, they shouldn’t even be made that way. They are pointless. I only have 2 cup holders in my car so I put 2 drinks in them. No matter how careful I drove, the 4 other drinks kept falling over and spilling. Then once the cardboard gets wet, it’s starts to fall apart. So here I am, trying to hold 4 drinks that are now half empty with their contents on my car floor. When you spend $33 on 6 drinks, you should at least be provided with adequate drink carriers. I have never had this problem before and neither have any of my coworkers. Super disappointed. Read moreI have been at Starbucks (and other coffee shops) all over the country and world, and without exaggeration, this is easily one of the best--primarily because of the staff. They have created SUCH a positive, friendly, helpful community not just among the staff (they truly seem like enjoy and like one another) but also with the customers. They warmly and enthusiastically welcome both regulars and new customers, sincerely inquiring about their days and lives. While I have noticed the positive atmosphere on myriad occasions, it was most powerfully on display when an incredibly rude and impatient customer showed up the other day. They handled his complaints and rudeness with care, compassion, politeness, and professionalism. Even after he left, their kindness continued. As another customer apologized for his outrageous behavior, the manager did not reveal any anger or annoyance but compassionately said "he was probably just having a bad day." What a model of not just great customer service, but also true humanity for us all to follow!! Truly, I cannot say enough good things about this Starbucks...
Read moreWe were heading back home from our road trip to NYC and we stopped to grab some coffee and a bite. The customers ahead of us were super friendly, when it was our turn to order, the lady behind the counter "julie" was not the best, her tone of voice changed as we approached, taking our order she was pushy, there was two people behind us so there was really no need to rush, I asked about a cookie they had on display, she rudely shouted " NO, THATS MY DISPLAY COOKIE!!" , we completed our order there was no hello, or thank you, what so ever. So I started complaining to my husband in the store while waiting for our order, I'm sure the other employees could over hear my conversation, the guy behind us in line set her straight, told her she can be more nice. Starbucks need to have her retrained, on how to treat customers of all background the same,we are not any less, we pay just like everyone else, and usually leave a nice tip too, sorry julie no...
