Nom Nom Pho — Restaurant in South Bend

This is a great establishment to grow your back. LOL. The food here is GREAT! I had a really delicious lunch today. I had the Avocado Bowl with Brisket (add-on). I had a hard time choosing because there were so many delicious options to choose from.

Pros: As previously mentioned, the food is delicious. It comes in large portions. If I were actually concerned about having a big back, I could easily divide the meal into 3 of those meal planning containers. I ate my meal in its entirety, no left overs. Because I am a classy lady, I had to maintain a public eating face, which was difficult because I wanted to shovel the food into my mouth. The carrots and cucumbers were slightly pickled (?). The kimchi and sauce were very tasty. The brisket was the biggest surprise for me. The bowl does not come with brisket, but you can add it on for $4. I received a lot of meat. I was not expecting that much. The facility itself is nice, casual. I love the mural on the far side. There was no wait for a table.

Cons: For those with some sensory things going on, the first thing that got me was the volume of the music. I suppose it helps to mask conversation. But, I felt a bit overwhelmed by it. Maybe I was right under the speaker. If you have trouble with patience, you're going to have difficulty. Although I didn't have to wait for a table (seat yourself) and the server came over quickly to take my order, it did take some time to get my food. I didn't time it but there was a wait. It is to be expected, I suppose, given that it is NOT a fast-food restaurant. I instantly forgave the wait, because the food was so worth it. There appeared to be only one server. She was lightly attentive as she had many tasks to tend to.

I'm still gonna go back every opportunity I can, because the food is just that good. (This is like my 4th or 5th visit...

Today, my friends and I decided to visit Nom Nom Pho because we were feeling a bit under the weather, and pho has always been our go-to comfort food. Overall, our experience at Nom Nom Pho was positive, but there were a few aspects that could be improved.

Firstly, I must highlight the exceptional service we received from our server. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our visit. Their warm and accommodating demeanor added to the overall positive atmosphere of the restaurant.

When it comes to the food, we were blown away by the flavors and quality of the pho. The broth was rich and aromatic, and the ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. Each spoonful was a delight, and it truly helped in lifting our spirits. Nom Nom Pho definitely delivered on the taste front, and we couldn't have asked for more in terms of the food itself.

However, one area where the restaurant fell short was the speed of service. It took quite a while for our food to arrive at our table, which made us feel a bit impatient. While we understand that good food takes time to prepare, it would have been more enjoyable if the service was a bit quicker. This slower pace of service was the only downside to an otherwise fantastic dining experience.

In conclusion, Nom Nom Pho provided us with a friendly and inviting atmosphere, along with delicious pho that hit the spot. The server's excellent hospitality contributed to a positive experience. Although the wait for our food was longer than expected, the overall quality of the food made up for it. We would definitely recommend Nom Nom Pho to others, especially if they are looking for a comforting and flavorful...

Our experience tonight? Horrible! My wife and I arrived early and expected another 2 to join us. We waited a minimum of 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. The remainder of our party arrived shortly after our drink order was taken. We didn't get our 2 drinks until at least 15 minutes AFTER the drink order was taken. Someone else came to take our additional party's drink order and they ere served it immediately. Then comes our food order. The food order was taken without any trouble. It wasn't until the wait time to receive our food that everything went downhill even further. It took close to an hour (at our around 50 minutes) to get our 4 entrees. When we finally received our entrees, my wife, who ordered Pad Thai without onion, got a plate that was covered in green onion. Seeing how it took almost an hour to get our food, she decided to pick off the onions and not say anything. It wouldn't have mattered if she DID want to complain because after the food was dropped off, NO ONE ever came back to check up on us. We were never asked how our food was, no drinks were refilled, nothing. When we finally were able to get someone's attention ask for our check, it took another 15 minutes to get our check.
