Title: A Disastrous Experience at Bojangles: Terrible Customer Service and Disgusting Food
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
Review:
I recently had the misfortune of visiting Bojangles, and it was an experience that left a bitter taste in my mouth—quite literally. The level of customer service I encountered was nothing short of abysmal, and the food I received was downright disgusting. I am compelled to share my dismal encounter so that others may be spared from this nightmare.
First and foremost, the customer service at Bojangles was shockingly terrible. From the moment I walked through the door, I was met with indifference and apathy. The staff seemed disinterested in assisting customers, and it was evident that they lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. When I approached the counter to place my order, I was met with a lackluster greeting and an overall sense of disorganization. Little did I know that this was only the beginning of a series of disappointments.
As for the food itself, I can only describe it as an affront to my taste buds. The chicken was greasy and overcooked, resembling nothing more than a sad excuse for a meal. The accompanying sides were lackluster and uninspiring, lacking any semblance of flavor. The biscuit, which is often touted as one of Bojangles' specialties, was an absolute disaster. Not only did they forget to include it in my order, but when I brought it to their attention, I was made to wait for an excruciatingly long 20 minutes, leaving me feeling frustrated and disrespected as a customer.
The lack of attention to detail and the blatant disregard for customer satisfaction at Bojangles is truly disheartening. It is evident that the employees lack the necessary training and motivation to provide a satisfactory dining experience. For a restaurant chain that prides itself on its Southern cuisine, I expected a far superior level of quality and service.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against patronizing Bojangles based on my nightmarish encounter. The terrible customer service, combined with the disgustingly subpar food and the egregious oversight of forgetting my biscuits, left me with an overwhelming sense of disappointment. Save yourself the trouble and seek out a dining establishment that values its customers and upholds high standards of food quality...
Read moreI really love the food at Bojangles, but all of the local stores are a disaster, this location in particular. I can't tell if it is poor management, inadequate staffing, lousy employees, or just an awful corporate culture, but Bojangles has some serious work to do to fix this issue.
I have been to this particular location several times, and cannot say that I have ever had an order that was correct or an experience that was good.
Yesterday was no exception.
I had to wait for over 5 minutes to place my order, there was nobody behind the front counter. The staff was all concentrated around the drive-thru window, and yelling about 'being out of fried chicken'. It was 12:30 on a Wednesday - how can you not have fried chicken ready to go during the lunch rush?
The person whom I assume was the manager seemed flustered and angry - shoving around bins of condiments and speaking rudely to the employees who were under-performing. Not a good look for the store - but a sight I have seen at other locations.
I finally got my order placed and it took another 5 minutes or so to get it. My club sandwich was missing the bacon - because OF COURSE it was. Rather than wait another 5-10 minutes to resolve the issue (again, there was nobody at the counter to ask to help), I just ate it. The Cajun chicken filet was dry and overcooked, too. The fries were salty and over-seasoned as well - a Bojangles trademark.
The customer who placed their order just ahead of me got his order 5-7 minutes AFTER I got mine. His wife had been seated with her meal at least 10 minutes before him - and they were already waiting to place their order when I walked through the door. The problems here were clearly not restricted to me.
Looking at other reviews, this seems to be par-for-the course for this restaurant. Based on my experiences with this chain, it's just how Bojangles...
Read moreFiasco! Ordered, waited about 10 minutes while worker fixed orders for the two people in front of us. She begins working on our order and readies my husband and daughter's orders and then tell me its going to be about 20 minutes on the wings I ordered would I like to wait or get another choice of chicken. What 20 minutes....I'd already waited 10....why didn't you call to have wings dropped when I ordered, I'd have been half way there by then. But nope! I decide not to wait and drop my whole chicken dinner and just get picnic fries. My husband took his and daughter's food so they can eat while its hot I wait for fries AND the change from what I paid for the meal I didnt get and the fries I did get. The worst part was had I decided to wait for wings my family would have had to eat then since their food was plated already and then wait while I ate...unacceptable idea! Asinine for even suggesting it. The up side is the mgr came to the rescue as much as she could returning the money for my while meal, comping the fries and offering me free wings when they came up(I declined those, I always feel like in "cheating" when I get something like that.) Another up side was the food that was served was good, husband and daughter both said food was good and my fries were hot, fresh and liberally spiced just the way they should be! So Fiasco to start......I ended up ordering a pizza later. Retrain the worker on the register so this doesn't happen again and keep better check on what's available to serve immediately not a 20...
