Hanako Asian Sushi Bar — Restaurant in South Carolina

I am sitting here at the restaurant the lady at the front was very disrespectful and rude. She provided poor customer service. She had an attitude from the moment I walked in the door I tried to ask about a menu item and before I could get my question out she said "Everything we have is listed on the menu." I was going to ask if I could get fried rice instead of the brown rice. After taking my order she snatched my card out of my hand. While waiting on my food not even a minute after placing my order, I went to ask her if I could add something extra to my rice. She said it's almost done and that they couldn't make any changes to it, usually I am understanding and okay with that but after considering her attitude and direspectful behavior I realized I'd rather not give my money to this business so I requested to cancel my order, not because I wasn't able to make the change to my order but because of her rude behavior and awful customer service, and she replied " well if you didn't want it then you shouldn't have order it." I explained to her that if she wasn't so rude I would have kept my order, she continued to process my refund with an attitude, huffing and puffing like she was out of breath, then she slammed my card on the counter while I had my hand out, I left my hand out until she placed it directly in my hand. I wish I could give this place no stars because she was very very rude and refused to provide any information for someone higher up. I will definently be contacting the news about...

Thursday 4/23 I placed an online order at 5:30pm. The website gave me a pickup time for 6:00pm. I arrived at 6pm and have been waiting for over 52 minutes for my to-go order. I’m sending this review from the waiting area inside the restaurant. Complete lack of respect for their customers time. When approached the lady has offered no apologies what so ever...just said “we very busy, 15 more minutes” and walked away. No matter how good the food might be IT IS NOT WORTH the 20 minute drive and then a 1 hour wait. I’m asking for the manager or owner right now. Will update if they offer any sort of apology or anything! After looking a little harder I have found that there are only 2 people working here...1 chef and 1 rude lady answering phones, taking orders, checking people out, and packing to go orders...there are now 10 other people in here waiting for orders!

My order was finally ready at 7:10pm. 1hour and 10 minutes after it was suppose to be ready. I asked to speak with a manager or the owner and the lady couldn’t even understand what I was asking. I will never return here and do not recommend it to anyone else!...

I stopped in town for a night and decided to try this restaurant. I did an online order. When I walked in to get the food, there was one person eating inside and one employee assisting in the front. I stood at the front desk and waited. The front staff made eye contact with me when I walked in, served the table that was eating, turned around and kept working. She never even acknowledged me standing there. I stood at the desk and watched her walk in and out of the back of the restaurant where the food was being cooked while I just waited. She even walked past me to take an order to someone who walked in beside me and didn't say anything to me. Another person walked in behind me and she greeted him immediately, walked past me again to get the person's food from the back, came back out and gave the man his food. She started to walk to the back again, and I said to her, "Ma'am, I've been standing here waiting to be helped and you haven't said a single word to me." She apologized.
