Note: Order made through Uber Eats.
So I ordered a 'special' with 20 traditional + 20 boneless wings + fries for $39.99 through Uber Eats. The order totalled nearly $70.00 (!!!) from Uber, but that's not Buffalo Wild Wings' fault.
After the order was delivered, I discovered there were no fries for the family. I called BWW and spoke to a person at the front who admitted to their error and apologized, saying the order was mixed up. She then transferred me to a manager.
The manager told me because I ordered on Uber Eats, there's nothing he could have done. He attempted to sort out the problem by offering me the opportunity to drive fifteen minutes to go pick up the fries. We ended at an impasse, logically, because I'm sure corporate offers this poor manager no opportunity to compensate customers who have been hosed out of money through Uber.
Bottom line, our family lost money and the restaurant offered no alternative to make the situation better for us other than we could drive in to pick up our fries or a coupon for an appetizer.
I ended the conversation politely, saying why don't we both just admit this was a mistake.
This was my first visit to the Bluffton location. I've been eating BWW for years. After this, I don't think I'll go there anymore. How a place can take my money and mess up and do nothing more than...
Read moreDidn't enjoy it at all bc my 21-month-old child could not sit in a Highchair at the end of the table bc he was a FIRE HAZZARD!! They brought him a booster seat without buckles for him to slide out of & get hurt. He could hit his head or worse. So we had to hold him!! We asked the manager he told us that kids couldn't sit in Highchairs bc it's a fire HAZZARD only if you are sitting in a booth does a child in a Highchair interfere with the waitress but you can sit at a table but on a busy night at the beach you have 4 people & a Highchair they will turn 2 tables together just for a Highchair & leave a table empty & leave people waiting I don't think so. And if the fire Marshall busted them again they would be shut down. Then the waitress brought us our ticket & told us to scan the QR code on the table to pay but when I scanned it, it added a $15 tip and would not let me change it. The little girl thought she pulled one over on us but I caught it I got up to walk to the bar to pay with my card then she came over I asked her if she could swipe my card for us to pay the little girl said oh yes. So I told her to swipe it & bring me my check. SO BE AWARE WHEN YOU SCAN A QR CODE TO PAY LOOK OVER YOUR CHECK BEFORE ANYTHING!!! WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!! HOPEFULLY, THEY WILL...
Read moreThis was the 2nd time I've been to the Bluffton location. Last time it was pretty dead and our service was slow, this time it was the first Sunday of football season. Our server had an 18 top on the other side of the restaurant, so we sat for 24 minutes before we even saw her. Thankfully the woman that had all the other tables right around us grabbed our drink order and told us our girl would be right with us. We were the lost table that no one seemed to notice... The woman who took our original drink order was more attentive than anyone, and we watched the gentleman we assumed was the manager walk around doing nothing from the bar to the kitchen 15 times while we waited to order. He appeared to be oblivious to what was happening past the bar TVs. When our server finally got there she was nice but seemed frazzled-- I understand each person may have a zone, but if you give 1 person a party of 18 maybe dont give them a table across the room. As a manager, I'd have stepped in to help out while she was in the weeds. Our food took a little while which was understandable as it was somewhat busy, and it was the standard BDubs level good.
Maybe give them a few months to get used to the football rush and it...
