This review is for the service only. Our server was Annabelle. We were there today on 3/29 at around 2:30pm. We started by ordering only half our food with the waitress then she walked away and came back a few minutes later not sure why but she continued to take our order. We could tell she wasn’t really paying attention so we doubled checked our order with her. Our order came out wrong with 3 missing items.. not including my drink was wrong. We asked her about 3 missing items and for 1 of them she said she forgot to put in. She wasn’t very apologetic and if she was, we would have still been a little upset but fine. The food was ok and when it was time for the bill, she charged us extra and she looked annoyed when we asked her to fix her mistake. (The extra charge was because I ordered 1lb of crab for myself and she brought out 1/2 lb. She went back to get the other 1/2 lb when I said it was incorrect. When she came back, said we wouldn’t be charged extra for it, just for the full lb. Which is what we ordered, so of course we should only be charged for what we ordered.. not extra for her mistake. But she charged for 2 half lbs which is more than charging for 1 full lb. It’s not a big difference at all but the principle of it is that she specifically said she wouldn’t charge for her mistake then did anyways). We are pretty new to the state and we were looking for a crab place to eat at regularly since my husband and I usually go multiple times a week. Overall, we had several missing items, our server was not pleasant, and we were charged more than we ordered. We don’t ever mind spending a couple hundred on good food but we expect the service to at least be okay. We have never left a place without tipping at the very least 20% .. until today. Will never...
Read moreI walked in the door and a Korean came to me. She was Korean and she said how can she help you so she directed me to the counter where she thought I was going to take out. Another White lady came in and stood in the area to be seated so I got behind her and so the white lady said oh she was first. So the Korean lady asked me if I mine her seating them first that was the two that came in behind me. I had the menu in my hand. She said she was dining in and she took her to a seat. Then she got the next two customers that were be behind me one was coming for job then she sit down and talk to the lady about the job and she just let me sit and no one came to me for quite a while and so I kept calling the lady to tell her I was ready to order and she just ignored me and then I got up to go to her and then the waitress came out and said what did you need? Can I help you and she had an attitude? Can I help you and she had an attitude like you just have to wait until we can get to you. what I plan to order I had told the Korean lady before any one came in but I had a very important phone call to take care of so I told her that. So one seated I’ve been sitting for about 20 minutes waiting for them to bring my food. This is really poor service!!! I hope the Food is better. Read moreWe are not regulars but do come often for occasions, this time for my birthday. Today we got our usual, the perfect storm boil for my fiancé and the reel catch for myself. We received the boils not even 10 minutes after ordering so we were already skeptical because it usually takes atleast 20 minutes for them to come out. We began to eat the boil and realized the shrimp and crawfish were overcooked but not too much for us to not eat them, so we didn’t say anything. The only reason we get the reel catch is for the lobster tail. When we went to eat the lobster tail it was quite literal rubber. I didn’t want to make a big deal or be a karen but like i said, the only reason I get the reel boil is for the lobster tail so i was very disappointed. When i brought it up to our server (she was very sweet, and didn’t cook the lobster) she brought over the manager and the manager told the cooks. To pay 150 dollars for two people at a seafood restaurant for all of the seafood to be like rubber was disappointing. And nothing remade or discounted for their mistake was also disappointing, but i’m not one to beg for compensation.
