PFChang vibe without the PFChang price!
From top to bottom and start to finish, this was a stunningly amazing dining experience!!
On Friday 6 pm, I was seated within minutes after being greeted by the very professional staff. The ambiance and environment resembles high end restaurants you see in LA or NYC. It is relaxing, appropriate for dinner conversation. Their menu is short (to your advantage) and easy to understand. Once our order was placed, our food arrived in less than 15 minutes.
Here is the best part, the food. They were aptly portioned and wonderful made. They did not skim on the meat, where most would have. The fried rice were perfectly seasoned and moist but not greasy. The sweet and sour chicken was plentiful, although the sauce could be mixed a bit better. Both dishes were nothing short of satisfying and superb and we were able to get two meals out of them.
The next best part, the price…this was no more expensive than any other “usual” Chinese restaurants, but Akomeya Asian Bistrol is anything but usual. This is almost perfect. In an area where there isn’t a lot of Asian population, this is a pleasingly surprise find.
100% coming to try everything...
Read more(See Follow up Below) Like so many asian restaurants, the food is pre-prepared. It tasted fine though. Did not have the sushi so don't know about that. This food as others is essentially a glorified Panda Express, honestly not as hot, but tasty. I just always find it hard that when the food comes average temp that people cease to realize that fact that its on a warmer. Maybe some don't care. We have eaten in china towns all over US. When that food comes the steam rising could burn you. You have to let it sit and cool a little before you can eat it. They can do it here, just not important enough because people don't demand it, corners are cut. Charge all the money ok, but give the quality commensurate with the bill! Not goanna happen i feel. Too bad *I called and spoke to Eva, She assured me that when I come back she will be able to make us pleased. I want this to be as good as possible so we will try again and see what Eva can do....
Read moreWent there today for a lunch date with my hubby. First time ever but I went based off of all the awesome reviews. But let me tell you something, the reviews don't do this place justice. Our server Kay was the only server and still did an amazing job. The food was phenomenal. My husband started with the house made pork egg rolls and with the first bite he sunk into to booth. They are the most flavorful egg rolls I've ever tasted in my life. For his main he had Yang Zhou Fried Rice. It was a big bowl piled high and sssooooo good. I started with Crab Rangoon. Really good but slightly over fried. I had a Philadelphia roll and a TNT roll. Both were amazing but OMG that TNT roll. That's by far the best sushi I have ever tasted. And my new favorite. The only thing I could think to complain about is that my cup ran empty, but again Kay was the only server so it's...
