Use these guys for your Samsung screen repair. I dropped my Samsung S8+, and despite my Otter Symmetry case saving it many times before, it just hit a corner wrong when i dropped it getting out of an SUV. I debated whether to even get it fixed, as it wasn't too bad. But, I realized you lose a couple hundred dollars on trade in anyway, so might as well get it fixed. Thought about buying a new phone, but just couldn't justify it as it's the newest model until the S9 comes out next month. I did all sorts of research trying to decide how to fix. I wanted to send it to Samsung, but it takes 9-11 days turnaround. I can't afford to go that long, need to use it for work. Even if I swap the SIM into another phone, I lose my contacts, text history, apps, etc. It's a huge pain, if you've never experienced. I finally decided to use someone local for the repair. I got quotes from everyone around. These guys were tied for the cheapest, and I use them for my key fobs and watches, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I was nervous about it, as my cell phone is my most personal device, as for everyone else. But, they offered a warranty on the repair, which most places did not. So, you've got an insurance policy even if something did go wrong. They were also super friendly when I dropped it off. They told me what time it would be ready(like 3 hours I think), and offered to call me when it was ready. They called a couple hours later. The new screen was perfect when I picked it up, as beautiful as when I originally took it out of box. The sales rep was really nice, I even asked him to swap the SIM from the phone I had been using while it was getting repaired, and he happily complied. I saved $10 by booking my appointment online, price ends up around $250. I also got a glass screen protector, which I wasn't using one previously. Read moreI chose to go through this location's We Fix It services because they had the best repair prices in town. I dropped off my iPod on June 15 for a shattered screen repair, and as I write this review, have yet to receive my iPod back from repairs. A comprehensive checklist was done on the device before being signed off for services. I was told by the sale associate that a couple hours were needed for repair with part in store. The process is taking nearly a month. In the process, they have severed my volume control. They have outsourced my iPod for repairs. I found out about the news through my diligence. Most of the updates received on my iPod's repairs were for the most part reactionary with the exception of Rusty, the most transparent associate I've encountered thus far. Some of the store representations were in poor communication about the repairs and issued grossly inaccurate timelines for my iPod's completion. A call was given to me on July 3 for pickup, but only to no avail. A bracket was missing from the power button which disabled its ability to retract off and on. Again, that spurred another inaccurate pickup date for repairs due to poor communication. I have expressed to the store manager as of July 6 that even a discounted repair price isn't warranted at 8 days shy of a month, which was met with his disagreement. I have reached out to corporate and the BBB about the services. It saddens me to write such a poor review given the positive feedback from other customers. Read moreFantastic customer service! I bought a USB cable that had a split mini and micro connection for synch and charge. The product seemed to work great at first. I had it for maybe 4 months when we noticed that while it was plugged in if the cable was touched at all it would short and the computer could no longer detect the device. I thought it was my USB port on my home computer so took it to work to check it there. It did the exact same thing. I called Batteries Plus to see what their policy was on these things. I couldn't remember if there was a warranty of any kind and I no longer had the receipt. I was told to bring the cable back in and they would replace it. I would have been happy for a discount on the second cable but they replaced it free of charge. Just fabulous!
