Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in South Carolina

Where do I even start with this place. This pizza spot is not that good for starters their pizza doesn’t taste any better than a frozen pizza you can buy from the grocery store. I tried this place again and I got the works pizza and some hot wings the pizza itself was decent at best and the wings I ordered mild and they were definitely not mild. I used to work here when they first opened here a year ago now and the pizza has definitely gotten worse. When I walked in I saw an employee sitting in the front on the phone calling someone while folding boxes. The front register girl didn’t even greet me which was a standard when I worked here. But what do you expect when the general manager has a criminal record and has been arrested multiple times and not only that but he has also joked about spanking one of the employees which she was underaged definitely made me uncomfortable. I would say this is the first time I have ever walked into an establishment and had all three employees turn around and look at me three times like why are you here. There were no customers in the store except me. Finally on the third look I was shown a single finger and told one minute. Not hello, not how are you, just one minute. Apparently whatever conversation they were having was more important than helping me or finishing it after they helped me. I just have an actual masters in management and a sarcastic Doctorate in customer service so what do I know. I do know I worked at pizza locations in the area when I was younger and we never ever let a customer walk out the door or ignore until we were ready. My first time and my last time. This review is an apology for my previous review. I've been ordering Donatos Pizza from this location for almost a year, and every single pizza has without fail been delicious. Due specifically to recent events, I feel the need to give special kudos to the staff at this location because, regardless of my previous negative review (which I had posted over something petty and I regret posting it) they have delivered my pizza consistently with great care each and every time, and with my most recent order, they performed above and beyond to make sure my experience was a great one.
