Fuddruckers — Restaurant in South Carolina

Staff was friendly and this isn’t a reflection of them, but this entire restaurant smelled. I figured out why when I went to the restroom to wash up before eating. The men’s restroom absolutely reeks of urine. So much so that it breached the door and filled that end of the restaurant. The carpet holds onto the stench and therefore the entire restaurant had remnants of that pungent ammonia odor. I will say my burger was good and the toppings tasty and presented properly. But once the stench gets in your sinuses, it will not go away until you exit the building. My wife couldn’t finish her burger because of the smell. The flooring needs replacing throughout and a subcontractor hired to come clean the bathrooms regularly. Food staff are not custodians so don’t use them for that. They will never do a thorough job. I quickly understood why the restaurant across the parking lot was completely full and Fuddrucker’s only had 6 cars in the parking lot. The locals have obviously realized what I came to learn. Not a good experience after I was really excited to find and eat at Fuddrucker’s since the one near my GA home closed.

edit I read a few other reviews and saw mention of “clean” restaurant many times. Perhaps today was an off day but I stick by my review regarding the carpet and restroom. It needed serious...

I went to fuddruckers for Mother's day to celebrate, and to have a nice dinner. We went and ordered, and realized after we realized before we received our food that they were out of cheese sauce. We asked many employees about the cheese sauce including the manager, and they all said that they would have it out in a minute. We waited over 30 minutes after asking over 10 more times, and they then told us that they weren't going to heat up the cheese for us, because it takes 30 minutes to do.(Even though we asked 30 minutes ago) The manager also blamed it on my brother, because he was the first to ask. The manager told my brother originally that they were out of cheese sauce, and told him that he could get it in a minute. My dad went up 30 minutes later and asked about the cheese sauce, and the manager said asked, "Did your son not relay the message?". This was so rude and we will not be coming back. We spent over 100 dollars here and we will be telling everybody about this very unpleasant experience, and recommending everyone to turn to another burger joint. This was the worst customer service I have ever gotten, and all the tables were filthy.(we had to wipe and clear our own table.) P.S. There were many customers who complained about these exact same points that I went over...

Truly, the world's greatest burgers (at least, of my personal dining experience at burger joints thus far).

It's an authentic classic style burger joint, with all the fancy and welcoming decorations you'd expect; staffed with great folks, who make the experience that much better. It's also spacious if you wish to dine in, which I hope to one day.

Now, the prices are...premium to some other ordinary fast food joints, but the food makes it more than worth the price. I cannot praise it high enough, nor properly describe the juicy full flavors. You even have a fresh condiments areas to put whatever you wish onto your food. Want melted cheese on your fries? Go for it! It's touches like these that lift this chain above any other burger joint I've been to.

You might be thinking about the burgers a lot at this point, but that's not all; there's also a bakery section with fresh cookies and brownies and such. So if the shakes they offer aren't enough for your sweet tooth...

11/10, I entered a food induced coma shortly after finishing my meal. It was all I could do to make it to getting brownies after.

Once last thing of note is the curious name...almost like you're supposed to flip the placement of two letters...
