THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT 2 LOCATIONS I was fired today for being sick. Here is what I saw in my 1 month at these locations:
This one (near Hooters) is actually pretty decent. At least as far as customer service. BUT the owner doesn't follow corporate policy or DHEC policy at all. There's NO sanitizer used on surfaces, the drink nozzles have black mold in them as well as the ice machines. Chips are constantly out of date. The ice scoops are never cleaned. NO dishes are ever cleaned. They just spray them with cold water. The bathrooms never really flush and are rarely cleaned. The cameras are all fake. All in all a 2.5/5 only because the employees are decent.
Now to 3300 N Main St (near Stanton Optical):
First off the old man who works there is constantly smoking and never washes his hands. Then he demands you tip him. And when you don't, he calls you every racist name under the sun. He also talks bad about everyone while he smokes out the door. He even tried to get me (33 male) to approach teenagers to find his "son" (19) a wife so he can stay in the USA. What a creep.
NOW SANITATION: Where to start... There's bug spray soaking the boxes that hold the soda for the drink machines. He also sprays pesticides inside the restaurant after close with no ventilation or license. There's black mold in the drink nozzles, no sanitizer spray for tables, a CO2 leak, the bathrooms ARE open and never cleaned, the food line is cleaned ONCE a week, sauce bottles are NEVER washed out, cookie and bread trays NEVER cleaned, bread knives NEVER cleaned, mold in the coolers and ice dispensers and I could go on.
Today i was fired for being responsible and got a Doctor note to prove it. Subway doesn't care. These locations are a front. Independently owned by a man who uses his wife's and daughters names to keep from paying child support. I have pictures of everything I claimed sanitation wise. Feel free...
Read moreSubway - Anderson, SC This Subway location is located in the heart of Anderson, SC, and it's a great place to grab a quick and healthy meal. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is always fresh. I love that you can customize your sandwich or salad to your liking, and there are plenty of options to choose from. I've tried a few different combos, and my favorites are the BLT and the Chicken Teriyaki. The BLT is made with fresh bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on toasted bread. The Chicken Teriyaki is made with grilled chicken, teriyaki sauce, lettuce, and tomato on a wrap. Both sandwiches are delicious and filling. Here are some of the combos that I recommend: The BLT: This is a classic sandwich that is always a good choice. The bacon is crispy, the lettuce is crisp, the tomato is juicy, and the mayo is creamy. The Chicken Teriyaki: This is a great option if you're looking for something a little healthier. The chicken is grilled and juicy, the teriyaki sauce is flavorful, and the lettuce and tomato add a touch of freshness. The Veggie Delight: This is a great option if you're a vegetarian or vegan. It's made with a variety of fresh vegetables, including lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, and spinach. If you're looking for a quick and healthy meal, I highly recommend Subway. The staff is friendly, the food is fresh, and there are plenty of options to choose from.

Read moreI have been at this location twice within the month of June 2024, and both times have been disappointing. On my last visit, 06/06/24, a young, black girl came from the back to take my order. I noticed that she placed her phone in her back pocket, put on some gloves, and asked me how she could help me? I replied, "Can you wash your hands?" She responded, "I just did." Then I asked her if she washed her hands before or after she touched her phone?" She did not answer but proceeded to ask how she may help me?!! Again, I replied, you need to wash your hands. She left and went to the back of the store and a male (Mexican or Italian background) came out and just ran water over his hands. He asked how he may help me? I said that's okay as I begin to gather my things and leave. He asked, "is there a problem?" I said "yes, the young girl was playing on her phone before I entered the store, I seen her put it in her back pocket, and she acts like she cannot wash her hands before serving me. Then you came out and wash your hands without using soap." No, thank-you, I would rather go elsewhere if I know that the employees here are not engaging in safe, food...
