Handel's Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in South Carolina

The first time I had, this ice cream was in Steele Creek. I recommended in Steele Creek not in Indian land. Me and my daughter had ordered a small mint chocolate chip ice cream when I was given the ice cream it was spoiled and it had a revolting taste me and my daughter were so upset. We went back up to the counter to inform them, and the girl who rang us up, had dark brown hair, and she was very disrespectful. She gave us an attitude and gave us a really bad look. The customer service was terrible. I’m going to warn anyone who reads this review of two things with this Handel’s location (the only one I’ve been to, but still). 1: it can get VERY busy, and 2: there is SO much to try that it’s overwhelming.

They have a ton of flavors such as grape, blueberry cobbler, key lime pie, and pineapple upside down cake, and I tried all four of those flavors so I can say that they’re all amazing. This is a wonderful little spot for delicious homemade ice cream! I enjoyed an ice cream sandwich made with an Oreo cookie and vanilla ice cream. The texture of the sandwich was just right—firm, with smooth and creamy ice cream that made it a real treat. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back to try more flavors.
